NICE Vintage RARE CLEAR DOME Dietz 7-61 Junior Rotating Beacon Light
Here is a nice working Vintage Dietz 7-61 Rotating Light. This has a much sought after very rare. Very nice clear dome. 12 Volt. And works great. Base gasket included. There is some interior surface corrosion/discoloration that is common with these lights. This is due to dissimilar metals used in construction. And moisture in storage. The CLEAR DOME has some minor scratching only. And no cracks or breaks. The chrome base is in very nice used condition with some scratches/scuffs GRAB THIS ONE!

Here I have a very nice RARE Junior Beacon Ray 15E with the heavy duty cast base made for pipe or flat mount. 12 Volt DC. And works great! The ONLY part missing is the base gasket Otherwise the light is COMPLETE. The original box is included. Along with the installation measuring gage, switch, and wire. There is no other hardware or paperwork. The only blemishes that I see is some small pits in some of the chrome. Caused by sitting in the box for nearly 60 years. These can't be seen in the pictures. For auction is an original 120 VAC red rotating beacon light. Universally used at Strategic Air Command(SAC) and Tactical Air Command(TAC) alert installations during the Cold War period. This particular alert light was previously installed at the Beale AFB Officer's Club in northern California, and was used to alert SAC crews to scramble to their B-52 bombers during an attack threat. Removed from service in 1972, this beacon was purchased from an Air Force marketing and redistribution center, and has been in storage for the last 41 years. If you were a member of SAC or TAC(or are a fan of Cold War movies) you'll remember these alert lights! It's a perfect momento for your den, family room or wet bar-or tie it into your home security system for"extra attention" in the neighborhood. Up for auction is this very cool vintage rotating emergency light. The light has a metal base that has a rubber ring around the bottom. The red globe is hard. Thick plastic perhaps plexiglass. The rotation works, and three out of the four lights work. I am assuming one of the bulbs is burnt out and needs to be replaced. The light measures approximately 10 1/2 inches tall. The red globe has a circumference of approximately 26 inches. The metal base has a circumference of approximately 30 1/4 inches. The light is in used, vintage condition. There are obvious signs of pitting, rust, and patina to the metal base. The most obvious is pictured in pictures 7, 8, and 10. It appears ... moreas though the rust goes through to the inside of the light(see pics 8 and 10) The red plastic has typical surface scuffs and scratches. You are looking at a really nice condition Vintage Dietz 7-11 Revolving 12 Volt Beacon Light. Most of these are really RARE. And this one offers no exception. I have never seen another. It comes with everything shown in the images including the 2 clear lenses, the clear cover(although there are some spider tracks from sun and cold) and machine itself. The inside assembly looks close to new. Underneath it is in equally nice shape. The chrome skirt is very shiny, no dings or dents and not out of round. There are some marks, but not bad at all. This action is for a vintage Whelen Model 994 rotating beacon light. It has 4 lights and is 12 volts. The light spins fine but the motor is a little loud. The lense is in good shape but is somewhat cloudy. This light has signs of use with scratches and the like but is in fair to good condition for its age.
