Turboflare 360 led Electronic Safety Road Flare Hazard Lite
Light Type: LED Light Class: Marker/ Beacon Short Description: TurboFlare 360. The TurboFlare 360 is a very bright marker/warning beacon which utilizes 20 bright red LEDs in a circle and pointed outward which"chase" each other to produce a swirling warning. Flash rate is about 190 RPM or about 3 flashes per second. The TurboFlare is intended to replace roadside flares and serve as an emergency beacon for a variety of situations. The body of the TurboFlare is made of yellow injection molded plastic which appears to be pretty tough. 8 legs protrude from the sides to give the unit stability when resting on a surface. The main body remains slightly raised above the surface. On top is a strong polycarbonate clear lens with reinforcing buttresses at the 5 screw holes where the unit is held together. In-between 2 of the legs is a large ... morepush-button switch that turns the unit on and off. Removing the two screws that hold the switch plate in place exposes the battery compartment where 4 AA alkaline batteries are inserted. A single yellow LED under the lens indicates when the batteries are at about 20% capacity. Runtime is between 80 and 90 hours. The TurboFlare 360 is about 8" diameter x 2" tall and weigh about 12 oz. with batteries installed. The unit is sealed with rubber gaskets and is advertised as waterproof.
