Federal Signal Streethawk light bar Directional strobe kit model SSK You are bidding on a used kit made by Federal Signal for use in the Streethawk light bar that converts two of secondary lights( Rear flashers. Takedown or alley lights) as directional strobes. I had these mounted in my old unit many years ago(1992 or 1993) and was impressed how bright these really are. The J30 12 voly power supply actually mounts in the light bar under the rotators so its all concealed. This kit comes complete with J30 12 volt power supply. Two"U" style strobe bulbs, instructions, orginal box, two light shields for the secondary lights to prevent flashback inside the main light bar lens and two secondary light assemblies(where you would plug the strobe or halogen bulbs into) I benched tested the power supply and bulbs prior to listing and they ... moreall worked. Up for auction is a Federal Signal AeroDynic light bar. Model 25 Series A1. The lightbar measures 52 inches long and has eight rotators and two alley lights. Because of ebay policy I cannot show the lightbar with lens covers. However. The lightbar has red and clear(candy cane) lens caps. The lens caps are in good condition and show natural signs of wear. NO CRACKING. I DO NOT have mounting brackets or a controller with the unit. The unit was working when pulled from service. However. Since I have no way to test it, item is being sold as-is. Federal Signal FA3 Flasher Vista Streethawk Lightbar
These are USED Federal Signal FA3 Flashers for LED lights that normally steady burn. It makes them alternate. They can be split to have FOUR lights flash in pairs. For example. Lets say One and two are connected to one terminal and three and four are connected to the second one. you could put them in the order 1/3/2/4 etc. to have them flash in all sorts of ways. 1 and 2 would flash and then 2 and 4. Can be used in other applications, but i use them for LED's. great way to save money is buy steady burns that are a lot cheaper and just attatch these flashers to them. There are a few versions of the FA3. This one has FOUR wires. Three in a socket and one directly into the unit. Run + juice into the wire in the socket labeled X, and connect the red wire/+ input from the unit into L1 and L2. Then run ground into the unlabeled wire that goes ... moreinto the unit, while running ground to the LED units, also. This will make it alternate. It does so by using some sort of electro-magnet or something, which turns on and off. When the metal pin is pulled by the magnet it runs juice to the second LED and not the first one. It goes on and off making the lights alternate. These units were tested and work fine. Returns are not accepted as this is an electronic and people may fry these if you connect it to a way too powerful supply. You need 12 VDC! Dont connect it directly to a wall or anything! This is a used Federal Signal Twinsonic Lightbar that I am selling for our local volunteer fire department. It does not currently operate and will need a new motor. The only other damage that I can see is it looks like one side had the mirrors squished. It is also missing an end cap on one end. Overall. This is a restorable lightbar but it will need some work. Federal Signal Jetsonic 48" Lightbar w/ Speaker + Alleys, TDs and Flashers
This is a Jetsonic lightbar by Federal Signal. It is the 48" model. It was removed in working condition from a small volunteer fire department and the money from this listing will be going to purchase new equipment for the department. I have tested this lightbar to the best of my ability. All four rotators work. They are the chain drive with the gears so there's only one motor. The motor is quiet and I let it run for 15 minutes without a problem. It has front and rear flashers. Alley, and take down lights which all work as they should. The domes are clear and I've had to remove all the inserts to comply with eBay's policies. The domes are overall in good shape with a few scuffs here and there. There is also a speaker in the center that worked when removed from the truck, I don't have a way to test it now. The wiring harness ... moreis over 10 feet long. This is a working aerodynic lightbar from the city of new york. It was acquired by a retired new york cop who removed it from his car when he retired. They retired his dodge diplomat at the same time. Domes are in good shape with minor scuffs and scratches. Lightbar has no siren speaker inside the center. Rotators and flashers work perfect.
