You are looking at a BOEING COMPANY AIRCRAFT EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHT FIXTURE SIGN from my dad's estate. This sign is in the original condition and is white metal with red lettering(has some scratches and wear) The lettering is in perfect condition. This sign is not cheaply made but heavy. This sign has writing on the back of it: EXIT SIGN- TYPE B SYMBOLIC DISPLAYS INC. 700312- SN 4871 DATE OF MFG 8035 BOEING PN 60B50043-2 28V GRD 6V It looks like you could open it and have it running as the back is in such good condition. The end caps on the main cylinder pull out slightly to allow removal of the side plates for maintenance and bulb replacement. There are two bakelite small bayonet cap lamp holders in the top.
