Switar 75mm 1.9 lens C-mount lens for Bolex micro 3/4 nex
Switar 75mm 1.9 C-mount lens for Bolex Lens is in fair condition on the outside. The pictures make it much worse than it is. Inside however it is mint perfect. Perfect front and rear elements. No haze or fungus. Any spots on the lens in the pictures are just reflections. The aperture is a tiny bit stiff and the focus ring is a tiny bit loose but nothing that would hamper everyday use and nothing that needs to be serviced. It has always had front and rear caps on it since I owned it and I have never used it. This is the non-RX version which is better than the RX version because the RX version is designed for a prism splitter and should not focus the colors properly. Having said that I have seen pictures taken with the RX online and they look pretty damn good so what do I know. The last picture is the aperture ring stopped down to 5.6. It forms ... morealmost a perfect circle. I believe there are 16 aperture blades! This lens was made for 16mm film so it was designed to resolve minute details. If you do not like it in any way shape or form just return it. You are not taking any chances here. Take a million pictures, if it's not what you thought it would be send it back. There are a few dust particles that do not affect the image quality. It appears at one time there was a stuck filter on the filter ring. A tool was probably used to remove it and it left a small protrusion on lens barrel. It does not affect the operation of the lens or quality of the image.

This very well-preserved Steinheil lens for 8mm movie cameras(Serial No. 827945) was part of a box of old photo equipment I bought years ago at a small town auction(I was after the WWII era Leica in the box) The previous owner was a WWII vet who served in Germany and who had been an instructor at the community college I attended. And his daughter was cleaning out the house after his death. I’ve never used the Steinheil, and I’m offering it at auction, so my daughter won’t have to do what his did with it. Hope it finds a good home.I’d say it’s been in its case more than it’s been out of it, and is in excellent or better condition both cosmetically and functionally for a lens of its era. F-stops click nicely and aperture blades appear to be clean, undamaged and functional at all f-stops. Focus is still smooth and functional though somewhat ... morestiff. Glass appears to be in very good condition. Included with the lens:1.Original metal case with threaded end caps(the lens threads into one for storage) and what I take to be the original cardboard packing sleeve with“Steinheil Munchen” ink stamped on it. The metal case itself is pristine, no nicks, chips or brassing, probably because it’s been kept in the protective sleeve.2. A threaded lens hood, a yellow filter, a uv filter. The lens hood is in excellent condition. The uv filter has many very small spots, more like signs of coating failure than nicks but its threads and metal surfaces are still excellent, and it has served a good protective purpose, is not“ugly” to casual notice though the marks would probably degrade image quality in use. The yellow filter overall appearance is very good though with a few small marks on the glass. All threads–lens front and back, hood, filters are excellent. 3. Topcon RE Super DM RE-2 RE200 RE300(Exakta) This is an interesting and unusual auto lens mount for fitting some classic Komura lenses onto many Topcon 35mm SLR cameras. It fits classic models such as the RS. RE Super, RE-2, Super D, Super DM, RE200 and RE300- please see the Compatibility section below for a full list. It also fits most East German Exakta and many Exa cameras, with manual diaphragm. IMPORTANT: Komura used several different interchangeable mount systems for 35mm lenses. This mount is an auto type(known as Unidapter or Uni Auto) Where the aperture ring is on the lens, not the mount. Later automatic(with no aperture rings) or earlier manual lenses(with one or two aperture rings) will NOT work with this adapter.
