The plastic case had distorted due to being left by a hot radiator. The original i nput wires I replaced with silver wired PTFE/ teflon and the original tin RCA plugs are also replaced. I also desoldered all the internal connections and desoldered them- it's working 100% guaranteed with no issues. If you have an original replacement case or small metal box then the unit can be visually improved- but if it's not to be seen this then isn't an issue. I've now covered the unit in heat shrink in an attempt to make it look slightly more appealing.
