General Radio GR Variable Inductor 107L Authentic and working but minus the wooden box it once had. In good pysical and working condition. I had checked it out on my GR bridge and it does work. With both the large knob and the smaller fine knob. It rotates smoothly, the inner coil turns inside the outer fixed one. Even quite a conversation piece sitting out on a table. It is nicely made. Steampunk? Not really steam age. From the 1940-60's but seems to me it has the look. The main knob metal skirt is about 4 inches(10cm) in diameter I had hoped to make a replacement wooden box for it and keep it around because it truly is a fine almost handmade thing from a historic Boston area company.
