I used distilled water and ran it through several cycles with a steam indicator strip to make sure it works and it does perfectly without issue (see pics). Quickly heats up to the set temperature (250 or 270) and maintains pressure of 29-31 PSI. Comes with 4 trays and installation/operating manual.
