The more this rig is used the more the smell of the residue of those minerals will burn out, I have given this sterilizer a few hours use and the smell of that residue is mostly gone. This listing is for a used Dri-Clave. Model 150. I purchased this furnace from the estate of a local dentist. The item is clean and in good shape. I am selling it As Is, because I do not have a manual or know how to test it. The unit comes with the hot tray lifting tool and two trays shown in the pictures. I plugged the Dri-Clave into the wall and turned it on. It has a steady temperature rise and the knob on the right side of the unit does allow you to turn the temperature up and down. I had the unit up to 375– 400 degrees as measured with the temperature gauge on the unit. When the unit got to temperature, the light on the front left side when out. This is all that I have done with the unit.
