MD N ame clearly imprinted in raised lettering The opener is made of steel 4 3/4" long and 1 1/2" wide Some Rust on Im p rinted sides The Lowe Brothers Company was founded in September of 1872 by brothers Henry C. and Houston Lowe. It began as a small store on E. Third Street. Between Jefferson and St. Clair streets in Dayton, Ohio. The Lowe Brothers began by selling paint produced by others. However, in 1882 the Lowe Brothers Paint Company opened and the Lowe Brothers incorporated their business in September of 1893. The company reached national notoriety before being sold in the later twentieth century. I found Little information on Meredith Roane Company. But I did find that a Meredith Roane Lumber Company did exist in Annapolis for many years.

Lowe Alpine Triple Point Overtrouser. Size medium These have been used by my son over the summer but he has grown out of them. The two nicks(below the right knee. Less than 5mm in size) are tiny and make no difference to perfomance; they have been repaired with spinnaker tape on the inside and are not visible when worn. The legs have 14 1/2" zip at each ankle to make getting them on and off over boots simple. The zips are free-running with an inner flap to help keep rain out; there is an inside mesh pocket at the rear and elasticated waist with adjuster. Measurements are: Waist(laid flat) 14" to 18" Inseam- 31" Outseam- 40" These are a good pair of pants and will help keep somebody dry and warm on a wet. Cold day!

From the logo. I estimate this awesome pack to be from the mid 70's. All webbing, clips, and zippers are in great working order. As you can see in the photos, it is slightly dirty and a little faded, but still a beautiful pack for being almost 40 years old. Greg Lowe was a pioneer in making comfortable and useful packs, and this is one of the earliest ones I've seen. The belt webbing feels just like my seatbelts did in my 76 Cutlass Supreme! This beautiful British Sterling silver salt shaker was made by John Charles Lowe. London, 1821. The silver is skillfully worked, with a ruffled motif along the base of the cap and the bottom, and the center area is pierced exposing the cobalt blue glass liner. Both base and cap are hallmarked. The salt shaker measures approximately 2 3/8" high, and it is in good condition with normal age wear. I am offering this beautiful piece of British silver for a very low starting bid and no reserve!
