I purchased this auger outfit from Bob Cat Central in Stockton California on 3/7/2012. I am tapering off my business and would like to sell this outfit. Bob-Cat makes some of the best attachments that perform for years. I have used this equipment for only 10-20 hrs. It is like new! Sorry about the spider webs& slight rust on the cutters. Pengo 15" Dirt Auger R-256 head 2 9/16" round
HI Guys. This is a 15" Pengo auger with a R-256 head(2 9/16" round) I originally purchased it for my Ditch Witch Mini-Skid Steer, but I've never used it. It has the 40/50 teeth and the Triflow pilot with the three wings. I use a 12" and 18" auger with the same setup and they work well in everything from dirt to hard-pack dirt with DG. In the DG the teeth wear quickly, but they are cheap to replace. I've dug some really hard material with these augers by just adding a lot of weight to it. I don't want to try and ship this, so I'm listing as pick-up only, but I do drive back and forth between Oxnard and the central coast up to Paso Robles and I head up to Visalia in the valley and as far as Escondido down the 15. Notice the side piece that is missing from the one I have- Needs major lubrication. From the internet- This hollow auger was branded with the Hargrave brand and made by the Cincinnati Tool Co. The original depth stop is present. This model has the advantage of two blade adjusting mechanisms: it is held in place with one screw which allows for adjustment of projection. solid stainless steel hexagon head 6 inch auger bit skidsteer,tractor etc 4.1ft
I have a auger bit for sale. I'm not sure what it was used on tractor or skidsteer type auger bit. It is all stainless steel it measures 4ft 1in in length it is a 6 inch bit, you can see the different drill holes in the end i guess to match up to different gear boxes, i beleave the head is a hexagon shaped head, it is solid all the way through.
