Delta / Rockwell Model 13 Planer 13" USA Made Floor Standing Single Phase
This listing is for one Rockwell model 13 planer. Cat. No. 22-401. Planer is 3hp. 220 volt, single phase, so you can run it at home. It also has variable feed speed! I don't know of any other compact planer that has this feature. Rather than fixing this machine up and charging more I am selling as is. This planer has the expensive 24V LVC motor control option. I did test run the planer and motor and starter are fine. The cutter head bearings are dry sounding so they will definitely need to be replaced. Variable feed speed also works but the lever is stiff. Should be taken apart cleaned and greased. There is some light surface rust but nothing deep. Rollers have pitch on them that needs to be cleaned off. The one side cover dented, see photo, and would need to be straightened. This is a great candidate to take apart and fix up as it is ... moreoriginal and complete. This is one of the best small planers ever made and is very solid. Weighs 500 lbs. This is a local sale only so you must be able to pick up at my residence in Hamburg NJ 07419. Yuasa Planer Jointer knife setting gage gauge Powermatic Delta Others
Auction is for one planer knife setting gage. It comes as shown with a precision Yuasa dial indicator and a BCG base. Yuasa is a Japanese maker of precision tools and is on par with Starrett in quality. We have a 20" Powermatic planer in the shop and this is one of the best setting tools out there. I can set 4 knives with this gage in about 30 minutes. Try changing an insert head in that time. I have also used those magnetic gages and they are junk if you want your knives set to thousands of an inch. I am selling it because we have a new planer on order and will not need it on the new planer. Anyway, I have not used it on a jointer but it should work fine. A very rare find in this condition for over 100 years old. 1893-1912 Antique wood planer. length is 17inches X 3 inches Ohio Tool Company on the blade. During 1893-1912 The Auburn Tool Company& Ohio Tool Company Merged during the time period this antique wood planer was produced. The Ohio Tool Company was relatively large manufacturer of both wooden and cast iron planes. As well as other tools, doing business in the 19th and early 20th Century. While not as good at employing or buying up innovators, they manufactured many of the same sorts of planes as Stanley did. In addition and unlike Stanley, they manufactured many wooden bodied planes, including moulding planes, sash planes and plow planes. They were founded in Columbus Ohio in 1851 by Peter Hayden, of P. Hayden& Co. which had been doing business since 1842, and various associates. ... moreThe company continued P. Hayden& Company's tradition of often using prison labor for the production of tools. By 1880 the use of prison labor had ceased, and in 1893 the company merged with the Auburn Tool Company of New York, themselves a frequent employer of prison labor. Bridgewood 15" planer model BW15P
I am selling my Bridgewood BW15P 15" Planer. I purchased this brand new in 2002 or 2003. But I have rarely used it. It is in very goo condition, has no rust, and also includes a heavy duty mobile base with locking wheels. It has sat unused for most of the time I've owned it and I've only run about a dozen boards and maybe a few smaller pieces through it. You can purchase a similar planer for between $1700-$2000 PLUS Tax and probably shipping, or you can get mine for substantially less and be assured you're getting a lightly used planer in very nice shape. This is a Taiwanese-made planer with a 220v. Single phase, 3HP motor, and is virtually identical to others in its class. That includes Powermatic, Jet, Grizzly, etc. All of these planers are nearly identical, so finding parts, including replacement knives(if you need them) ... moreis not a problem. This particular planer was sold by Wilke Machinery, and is considered to be one of the better imported 15"planers. Although Wilke no longer sells Bridgewood machines, they do carry parts. Grizzly 15" Planer Model G1021 Made in Taiwan
I got this planer at a garage sale and have never personally used it. I don't have a way of plugging it in near my storage container where its located. It has one of the prongs that's turned sideways so I think that means you can only plug it into a 20 amp circuit. My storage container is located about 250 ft from my breaker panel at my house and the planer is extremely heavy so I can't take it over there to plug it in. There's too much voltage drop at the plug near my storage container to plug it in there and I don't want to risk damaging it by plugging it into a circuit that's too weak. Because I can't plug it in I'm selling it as untested and to be on the safe side for parts or not working. It may have missing. Damaged or broken parts or pieces. I then planned to start a business with it but never got around to it(lots of people need trim made to match old houses) I would estimate that it has less than 20 hours on it total.
