Vintage Powermatic PM100 12" Planer Up for auction is a vintage Powermatic PM-100 12" plainer. Serial number 1-4450. This particular model was in working condition when removed from a local high school. It dates back to the early 1960's. Motor is 3 Phase/ 3HP/ 220V. The planer was hardwired, so there is no plug. Dimensions 30" W x 24" D x 40" H. Included is a very nice shop made dust collector hood, as well as the cast iron chip chute. There are no breaks or cracks that I can see. Inspections welcome. This tool is locate approximately 60 miles north of San Francisco very close to the town of Guerneville near the Russian River. This tool was donated to our non-profit. organization by a wood worker in the mid 90s. It has sat unused in our wood shop for almost 15 years. This is a used set of HSS 15" planer knife blades that fits many brands of planers. Brands like Bridgewood. Powermatic, Delta, Jet, Grizzly, etc. These are the single edge blades and are thicker like the better quality ones they used to make as standard. Since I am not sure all of the brands that these fit I will ask you to check with your suppliers to make sure before bidding. Based on my knowledge this set fits most 15" imported planers that were made from around 1995 to 2010 or so. I think these were removed from a planer in order to put a carbide set on, these are useable but I would recommend resharpening to make them more perfect for a better surfacing. This planer is built the way they used to be built. It works great and does not move around the floor when planning heavy wood. It has a Balder 7.5 HP 3 phase motor and also has a phase converter so it can be used on 3 phase power or normal 220 volt single phase. I upgraded to a spiral cutter-head and no longer need this. The bearings seem to be tight and was in good working order when I took it out. This is for a powermatic 201 planer. Rockwell Invicta Delta RC 51 20" Planer 5HP Single Phase Powermatic Jet RC-51
Up for auction is this Rockwell/Delta 20" wood planer. This was built in December of 1984 and has seen light use all of its life. I bought this out of a high school wood shop that was abandoned over a decade ago. This is in great running condition and is very solidly built. Great for a residential garage shop. All of the feed rollers and bearings are smooth like they should be. This has high quality SKF bearings. The weight is close to 1300 pounds. The 4 knives are sharp and this is ready to use. This is powered by a Rockwell 5HP single phase motor 3450RPM that draws 21 amps 230 volts. This has feed rates of 16 and 28 feet per minute. only issue I see is the rapid table feed will kick out of gear occasionally and therefore needs adjusting. This is a really high quality unit that is much better than the newer Grizzly or Jet units. I will ... moreinclude a print off of the instruction manual. Thanks for looking. Powermatic 160 planer single phase 3hp very nice fully restored 1973
For Sale is my 16" Powermatic planer. I completely rebuilt it a few years ago. Included having the table and chip breaker and pressure bar milled flat. Rollers trued, all new bearings in the cutterhead, table thrust bearings. I repainted it matching green from the 70's Powermatic metallic green with automotive paint. The pictures rendered the color kind of funny, but it matches almost perfect to their metallic green from the mid 70's. my favorite PM color) I also relocated the motor under the base so the footprint isn't so big. My only wish is to put a proper magnetic starter on it. It has a cheap China job on it now. It has a 3hp single phase 220 motor in it. It seems small but is perfectly adequate for everything I've put through it. I also built a belt guard but have yet to finish it. It is on a quick welded together ... morebase so it can be moved around. It weighs about 1200 lbs. It is in my garage level with the street, so you would need to bring something to pick it up or roll up onto a truck or trailer. this is a pick up item only.
