The cutter head has 4 blades on it and there are a couple of dings on the blades that make ridges on a piece of wood but for the most part they are in great condition and the dings are to one side of the cutters. This machine is 5 Hp. 3 phase power and 480 volt with a 20 amp, 4 prong, 12 foot long plug on it. You will either need 3 phase power in your shop or you can buy a phase converter for a couple hundred bucks that will run 4- 8 HP and convert the phase from 3 phase to 1 phase and the machine will run at 2/3 power. Up for auction is this Rockwell/Delta 20" wood planer. This was built in December of 1984 and has seen light use all of its life. I bought this out of a high school wood shop that was abandoned over a decade ago. This is in great running condition and is very solidly built. Great for a residential garage shop. All of the feed rollers and bearings are smooth like they should be. This has high quality SKF bearings. The weight is close to 1300 pounds. The 4 knives are sharp and this is ready to use. This is powered by a Rockwell 5HP single phase motor 3450RPM that draws 21 amps 230 volts. This has feed rates of 16 and 28 feet per minute. only issue I see is the rapid table feed will kick out of gear occasionally and therefore needs adjusting.
