For Sale- Is a used Rockwell Porta-Plane model 126. It is a 120 volt 7 amp motor which turns@25.000 rpm. This tool is in very good shape and works very well. There are no nicks in the cutter and it is a steel cutter which can be resharpened if needed.It comes with the origional manual, cutter wrenches and carrying case, which is very nice on the interior, but has some rust on the exterior from being transported to and from jobs- it could be repainted in order to be sweet again.They don't seem to make steel carrying cases anymore. Rockwell 18" Heavy Duty Wood Planer Wedge Bed 7.5 HP / 3 PH
Up for auction is a solid Rockwell 18" Heavy Duty Thickness Planer(Model 22-201) It has a capacity of 18" wide x 6" thick and has a powerful 7.5 HP/ 3 PH Motor on the cutter head and a 0.5 HP/ 3 PH Motor on the Infeed Rollers. I purchased this tool hoping to just clean the surface rust on the table tops and found that the cast iron worm gear on the infeed drives is worn and needs replacing. This will be a great tool for anyone who has the time to rebuild it. Unfortunately I am not that person. 25 years ago I owned this exact model(with a much smaller motor) and it is one of the best planers I have ever used.
