New Baldor motor. Runs like new. I have been using this machine for 12 years. It has been set up with Dispoz-A-Blade knives. I do not have the knife grinder. I built a dual outlet hood for the dust collection system Bearings are heavy duty and in good condition. It was built in 1902 according to the serial number. SCMI Model S630 24" Wide Thickness Planer 4 Blade/Knife Cutter Head
Up for bid is a SCMI 24" thickness planer model# S630. I switched the voltage to 208/230 3 phase so I could test it as I don't have 460 volt in my warehouse. Which the machine was wired for before I changed it. It runs smooth and quiet for a planer this size. The only thing I couldn't get to work was the digital height gauge, which I think will take moving a wire on the transformer. It still goes up and down and height can be read by the gauge on table. There's even an alarm or sensor that will not let you move the table too high at one time so you don't get your board stuck. Here are a few more specs. Model- S630 Matr. AB/103913 Ref. 101218 Comp. Delta Invicta RC-63N 24" Wood Planer with Newman Spiral Cutter Head 15 HP 3 Ph.
You are considering a Delta/ Invicta 24" Wood Planer with a Newman Spiral Cutter Head. This planer is used. But is in good overall condition. It shows normal wear, scratches, etc from use. Some of the bare metal parts have light surface rust starting to form from sitting unused in a non-climate controlled warehouse. We have run this planer here and it runs smooth with no excess noise that would indicate bearing problems. We run a couple test boards through it and it seems to cut fine. It may need some minor adjustments before being put into production. If ever needed, parts are still available through Delta for this planer and through Newman Machine for the cutter head. You will receive a copy of the owners manual and parts list with this planer. General Model 130 14" planer cutter head
Selling the 3 knife cutter head from a General Model 130 14" planer. This cutter head is in excellent condition and includes 2 set of knives. All the gibs and blocks for locking in the knives. Has the original bearings which seem to still be tight and in good shape. Selling because I replaced the cutter head with a Byrd shelix. Email with any questions. Often Ebay's shipping calculator is inaccurate, email and I can give a more accurate shipping quote via USPS or UPS. However, buyer pays all shipping costs, regardless of what ebay states. Weinig 630225 spiral planer head
This is a very nice used Weinig spiral cutter head part number 630225. It has very little use on it. The carbide inserts still have 3 new cutting edges left. Cutting length is 240mm(9 7/16" tool diameter is 140mm(5 1/2" and the bore is 1 13/16" It uses 50- 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm carbide inserts that have a slight convex curve on the cutting edge to prevent overlap lines on the wood surface. Maximum RPM is 9500. The tool body is aluminum and the retaining screws are T20 torx drive. Very nice Weinig quality cutter head, sells for around $1100.00 new. Thanks for looking!

I upgraded to a spiral cutter-head and no longer need this. The bearings seem to be tight and was in good working order when I took it out. This is for a powermatic 201 planer.
