You are bidding on a Rockwell Port-a-Planer 126 electric planer made by Porter Cable. I will be the first to admit that it is ugly but I can tell you this thing works like a champ! I just replaced the cord so no worries on that. The bit/blade is in great shape with no major damage and is ready to work. The previous owner looks to have modifed the guide plate to make it less thick(should be able to make back to original size. The bottom guide is coming up on one side but also can be bonded back down with some JB weld. Please ask all questions before bidding. The shipping will be $20.00. Porter-Cable Model 126 Porta-Plane With 2 Carbide Cutters & Case
I am selling a Model 126 Porter Cable Porta-Plane Door and Edge Planer. The Porta-Plane comes with its case. 2 carbide-tipped#43263 spiral cutters(one newly sharpened) the wrench& hex key for changing the cutters, and the original instruction manual. The Model 126 has a 7 amp, 22,000 rpm motor and can plane boards up to 2-13/32” thick. The plane can also be used to make bevel cuts—inside bevels from 0°-45° and outside bevels from 0°-15°. The plane is in excellent working order but it has a few minor scuffs and scrapes consistent with careful use. The planer bed is smooth and true. The carbide tipped cutters have no chips or other damage. The metal case is sound but the exterior(especially the top for some reason) has some surface rust and missing chips of paint.
