I have for auction this Nice. Barely used, well maintained porter cable power planer door hanging kit. The plane is nice. It runs smooth. The sole is clean. There is no signs of heavy wear to the tool. The electrical cord is in fine used condition. The blade/cutter is free from any chips. There is some wood gum up on the cutter. There is dust and some minor grime in a few areas, but otherwise a great barely used tool. It comes with the 3 hinge template that appears to be complete. all the locking screws are inside the plastic bag. There are also 3 4' jamb gauges and a Stanley but hinge gauge. It also comes with the instruction booklets for the plane and hinge template. The steel porter cable box is in great shape, with only minor scratches and scuffs; mostly contained on the bottom of the box. It will service the new owner will. Has some use but still very sharp.All pieces shown are all that I have. Top cover to router is broken. There is a websight were that can be gotten from. Router works fine. Motor runs smooth and fast. This is a Newman 500 planer molder/matcher. It was rebuild completely by the Yates mechanics and over 43k was spent to restore the machine. It was only used about 100 hours after rebuild because of loss of contract work. Has all electrical motor to drive and plane. i.e. 125hp and 20hp drive. Machine comes with straters, and all electrical needed to make production. If you buy the machine I will provide a crane to load on your truck. Dimentions are:16' long X 8' wide X 4' high. It weighs 16.000 lbs.

Weinig 630225 spiral planer head
This is a very nice used Weinig spiral cutter head part number 630225. It has very little use on it. The carbide inserts still have 3 new cutting edges left. Cutting length is 240mm(9 7/16" tool diameter is 140mm(5 1/2" and the bore is 1 13/16" It uses 50- 15mm x 15mm x 2.5mm carbide inserts that have a slight convex curve on the cutting edge to prevent overlap lines on the wood surface. Maximum RPM is 9500. The tool body is aluminum and the retaining screws are T20 torx drive. Very nice Weinig quality cutter head, sells for around $1100.00 new. Thanks for looking!

Makita Planer (Thicknesser) 2012NB
I've got a big pro planer now. So it is time to let my portable find a new home. This is a fantastic planer. It produces a great finish with minimal snipe. The blades slip in and out from the slide, so they are very easy to replace. It has some signs of use, but nothing serious that will detract from its function. There are some scratches on the plastic body, a very small dent in one of the feed tables, some light surface rust on the vertical support shafts, and a bit of electrical tape on the power cord. I've made some nice furniture with the help of this fine machine. It is very heavy(70lbs) and very quiet for a power tool(around 83db) I'm willing to ship if you are willing to pay for it, but obviously a local pickup is preferred. Comes with extra set of blades!

Vintage 16" Planer Baxter Machine Company, New Hampshire
Vintage 16" planer. Built by the Baxter Machine Company, located in New Hampshire. This machine was recently taken out of service and is in very good condition. It is a two knife, square head machine. Both knives are in need of a sharpening at this time, my last planing job dulled them to the point where they should be removed and sharpened. Other than that the machine is ready to work. It is a heavy, cast iron unit, and you won't get any chatter like on modern, lite weight machines. Please understand this is a vintage piece of equipment and does need attention to keep it running good. The babbitt bearings are in great shape and if you keep the oilers full every time you use it this machine will last another hundred years. The table adjustment is silky smooth and effortless to adjust. This machine will take lumber just over 6" ... morethick. Gears to operate the feed rollers are all in great condition also. The motor is a 3 hp, 3 phase unit. 220/440 dual voltage. It is wired for 220 low voltage right now. I had motor wired right into a box on the wall. You will have to do the same or install a switch on the machine itself. If you like old equipment, love the slap of leather belts, and like heavy cast iron pieces you will really enjoy this machine. I am selling my planer. It has been used approx 10 times. No issues with this planer. Great power, I have been very happy with it. I am getting out of wood working. That is the only reason I am selling it, or I would keep it. I have had it approx 8 months. It will come with blades, and I will also provide another gently used pair also with purchase. I just would like someone to use it and put it to work. Yes its a little dirty, just sawdust, thats what it does. Blades are easy to change, and I will send owners manual with it, which shows you how to change. Its a great buy if you want almost new but not the new cost.

This lightly used Delta 13-in. planer features slotted knives and two cutting speeds. 60 cuts per inch for dimensioning. And 90 cuts per inch for finishing. It also has a cutter head lock and depth indicator gauge. I'm also throwing in the stand, mobile base, and dust collection attachment. Blades are in good condition with no chips. There are no mechanical issues. The only nit-pick I have is that the feed rollers occasionally will briefly slip on the lumber going through. I suspect a good cleaning of the rollers would address that.

Up for auction is a almost new Grizzly Industrial 15 inch planer. I bought this in 1999 and used it for a few hundred board feet while re-creating antique furniture as a hobby. Do I need to say more than that my oldest son is 13 now and I haven't had time for any hobbies other than soccer. Karate, and cleaning up after kids for some time now. The last time I remember using it was in 2002 when I woke up to find several campers"squatting" on my property just outside my workshop. I just couldn't resist going out at 5:00am and running a few chunks of oak through it to make sure everyone slept well. Problem solved. The planer runs like a champ with no issues. It turns on very quietly and runs smoothly. The infeed and outfeed rollers are a bit worn but they still work well. The cutters are sharp and yield a smooth cut on the board. There is a molder head on it with trim cutters. They are very sharp. The adjustment up and down works well. I really don't see anything wrong with this except that it will need a new set of drive belts. Which should be pretty cheap. I live in zip code 37406 in Chattanooga. TN.
