This is a Woodmaster 612 in very good condition. It was taken from a working environment but it is 220V and I do not have a power supply to test it so it is being sold as is for parts. It has a little rusting on the blade rollers but the blades are sharp and no gouges. The top has a flip up wooden door and no dust collector hood. There are solid feet on one side and temporary casters were mounted to the other side. One caster is smaller than the other so they should be replaced. Sold as is for pick up only. Original G.E. 115/230 volt single phase motor for a Delta Rockwell 22-101 13" x 5" planer. 1-1/2 HP 1710 rpm's. Frame 204. 19.4 amp draw at 115 volts, 9.7 amps at 230 volts. The motor runs well and includes the base, missing are the two small brackets that clamp over each end and hold the motor in place. These should be the same for the factory three phase motor. The shaft is in okay shape with some marking on the shaft from having a set screw I believe bear down on it. There are also some marks parallel to the shaft, though the pulley fit very snugly.

This will plane lumber up to 42" wide. Made by the H B Smith Machine Co in Smithville NJ. We purchased it from a furniture company that went out of business over 35 years ago. And it has been in storage ever since. It is belt driven, and was driven by a main drive shaft. It is very heavy. Everything still turns. If you do a search on Google Images for"H B Smith Machine Planer" you can see a picture of the planer after it was converted to be run with electric motors. You will also see pictures with the original belt drive. One picture shows a similar model in a field probably being driven by a tractor. The plane is in excellent working order but it has a few minor scuffs and scrapes consistent with careful use. The planer bed is smooth and true. The carbide tipped cutters have no chips or other damage. The metal case is sound but the exterior(especially the top for some reason) has some surface rust and missing chips of paint. Delta 22-101 13" x 5" planer chip breaker. I believe the correct Delta part number for the chip breaker is#482-01-036-5001. The condition of the chip breaker isn't very good. The contact surface of the chip breaker is chipped from use. And there is a small fracture on one of the ends where the chip breaker mounts would mount to the planer. The fissure doesn't seem to run through the casting, but is evident on the one side. I can email more photos of the fissure to interested buyers. Please use your own judgement. Returns accepted.

LOCAL PICK ONLY I bought this several years ago with the intent to use it solely as a moulding machine. that never materialized. Its made for Sears by RBI in Kansas city mo. Parts are still available as I replaced the height adjusting sprokets from plastic to metal. The Sears Model# is 306-3339 it has a 2 horse dayton double capacitor motor.220 volt single phase. it is running and ready to use. The knives could use a little dressing up. i consider them sharp but I prefer A keen edge. you can dress them on the machine with a good quality stone.If you are needing to upgrade from the portable suitcase type planers this is a good reliable machine. I would venture to say this unit has less than 25 hours total on it. It is just barely broke in! The man working for me is very fussy and set this up perfectly. This was bought in 2007. I called Williams and Hussey Friday to ask what is a fair price on this and to verify its model and what I paid. The Lady told me in this condition 2000 was a fair price. I paid $2.198.00 plus tax and shipping, the set of blades were about 300.00 the extension cord cost 50ish we came to the conclusion it is a model 154. This is a local pick up only in Racine Wi. Up for auction is a solid Rockwell 18" Heavy Duty Thickness Planer(Model 22-201) It has a capacity of 18" wide x 6" thick and has a powerful 7.5 HP/ 3 PH Motor on the cutter head and a 0.5 HP/ 3 PH Motor on the Infeed Rollers. I purchased this tool hoping to just clean the surface rust on the table tops and found that the cast iron worm gear on the infeed drives is worn and needs replacing. This will be a great tool for anyone who has the time to rebuild it. Unfortunately I am not that person. 25 years ago I owned this exact model(with a much smaller motor) and it is one of the best planers I have ever used.
