Tektronixs TDS644A 500Mhz 4 Channel Digital Oscilloscope with color display
This is a Tektronix TDS-644A 500Mhz 4 channel oscilloscope with color display. It has a sample rate of 2Gs per second. The color display is really nice in that it allows you to easily see your settings and readouts for each channel. You can even set the readouts to all kinds of colors. Don’t know why you would need that but you can do it. I got this from a friend who bought it off e-bay a few years ago and it didn’t work when he got it. I did some research and found that many Tektronix scopes suffer from surface mount electrolytic capacitors leaking on their analog board and causing the ACQ failure on the power up tests. I replaced ALL of the electrolytic capacitors on the analog board and then cleaned up all residual leaked electrolyte. I gave the board a good soak and scrub in alcohol. The cursor functions allow for time or voltage(and even both at the same time) differentials to be easily measured(no need to count grids and do math in your head) It even has FFT functions but I have never played around with those. You can even save setup configurations as well as record waveforms on the scope or save/copy them to the floppy. This is clearly the best scope I have ever gotten my hands on. In fact. Its actually overkill for my needs. I have another(lesser) Tektronix scope that works well for me. I have had this guy for a couple years and had a hard time deciding to sell it. But, there is another very expensive piece of equipment that I want for developing a gizmo I want to produce so I gotta raise bucks to buy it. I have completely tested the four front end attenuator preamps and they are all working to specs. You get great full bandwidth on 4 channels 2 GSa/s simultaneously on a single trigger. This is a nice scope; I like it a lot. It has several menus. And functions selectable from those menus. I am an electrician and not an electronics guy. I like this scope because the way it is set up makes it easy for a dummy like me to get a usable waveform on a usable display really quickly. As best as I can tell, everything works. There is a self diagnostic the scope goes through upon start up; it passes that. There are three or four additional menu-selectable diagnostics that you can run. The scope passes all those tests. The accessory pouch is attached. There are two manuals(in great shape) included. The display functions properly. The probes you see in the photos are not included. I will pay the shipping to the lower 48 states. Also passes the signal path compensation routine(SPC) as often as initiated. Bandwidth on all 4 channels measures to well beyond 500 MHz. Minor blemishes are present. All typical for a bench scope properly cared for. The worste blemish is to the left of the blue Tektronix logo on the front panel nameplate.The display is perfect. This one has option 2M(8M Max/2M Ch) 2A(Advanced Analysis) and is at Windows 2000 w/Service Pack 3. This scope does not have the thermal printer or touch screen options(if there is an upside. This does improve the displays appearance) You will want to use at a minimum a mouse with it(included in the top compartment) I like the small form factor keyboards with touch ... morepad built in. All controls function as intended on and on… It’s a nice scope. For comparison. This scope would compete with aTDS3054x of any generation. This scope would have a larger foot print on the bench, a bit more noisy, but the acquisition system on this scope is vastly more powerful, and is analytically presentation wise far superior as well. This oscilloscope uses a windows based motherboard to supervise a separate PowerPC board that manages a separate acquisition board. ALL of the heavy lifting is accomplishes with the PowerPC/Acquisition board(oscilloscope side) So the windows board is not heavily burdened as an oscilloscope and can run unrelated applications. Some scopes of this era were so called closed boxes(windows board/acquisition board only) un-approved third party software would crash them and was not allowed; and the interface during calculations could become halting. Still relevant. This scope was advertised to have a waveform capture rate of 100,000 waveforms per second, the DPO/MDO4000 are said to be 50,000 wfps scopes. Tektronix 2440 300MHz Two Channel Digital Oscilloscope, CALIBRATED, w/new fan.
Greetings! This 2440 is used and in superb condition. The display processor output and attenuator caps have been tuned to factory specification. And it has been calibrated with a DMM and power supply that both have NIST-traceable calibrations in a lab environment. It is hard to tell from the images, but the display is incredibly sharp, looks like new! The output voltages and ripple were checked via the A13 PCB and were well within spec. Aside from some scuffs and a chip in the left corner of the rear bezel, this unit is in EXCELLENT shape. The system fan has also been replaced with a more modern, powerful and efficient ball bearing fan for long service life. Thanks for looking!

About the 54503A The HP 54503A Digital Oscilloscope is a general purpose four channel random repetitive scope with 500 MHz bandwidth. It has eight bit vertical resolution. And 20 MHz sample rate. The random sample interval is 50 nsec, but sample placement relative to the analog trigger on any acquisition is precise to within 40 psec. Therefore with repetitive signals and multiple acquisitions, a waveform with 40 psec resolution can be constructed. Very precise timing measurements are ... morepossible on repetitive signals. Textronix T912 10 MHZ DIGITAL Storage Dual CHANNEL OSCILLOSCOPE This oscilloscope is marked Textronix T912. It is in very good cosmetic and tested working condition. I powered this unit up and everything seems to being working properly. The only thing i see wrong is the Volts/DIV control may need replaced. You feel it catching when you turn it. All the other knobs and buttons move freely without binding or catching. The view screen lights up and shows different lines of testing. I believe this unit works properly. There are No cables or probes with this unit. As always i guarantee this unit is working or return it for refund.
