Vertical sensitivity goes down to 5mV/div. Horizontal sweep goes to 2ns/div(10X) Unit has all kinds of sweep and trigger modes. Total weight is about 24 pounds. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. Also, in the A INTEN sweep mode the A trace seems to stop at the end of the B trace, not a big deal but think it should continue to the end of the screen(see next to last photo) The last photo is the B timebase ALT function(which looks like it works fine) Screen is nice and bright with good focus and no burns. Costs only a tiny fraction of its $9,000 new price, yet years from now well maintained 2465Bs(last scopes Tek made to be repairable) will still be faithfully serving their owners as the pile of unrepairable junked DSOs grows to the size of a mountain. DSOs have tried to emulate the features of high performing analog scopes since day-1, and in some respects are still trying. Arguably the only advantage DSOs have is in recording, while still suffering disadvantages in waveform fidelity. First photo shows leading edge of a 1MHz square wave whose risetime(and that of the scope) reads about 1.10nS, consistent with the capability of a 400MHz scope. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows response of scope to"autoscale+measure frequency" of a 1KHz signal from a time mark generator. 3rd photo shows result of asking scope to"autoscale+measure volts" of a 2Vpp signal. Note it tells you it goes positive from ground and that it spends more time on than off since the average is slighly more than 1V. 4th photo shows response to 2 equal amplitude signals one at 40MHz, the other 400MHz. This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they ... moredidn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. Here's a very nice 2213A scope. Everything is working fine. This has a delayed sweep with excellent triggering. This will trigger on alternate sweeps as shown in the picture. The frequency response is very conservative and it's only about 6 db down at 100 Mhz. It triggers fine at 100 MHz. This includes the front cover. These newer Tek scopes are generally more reliable than their earlier scopes. Serial# B051119 Less than 1000 hours and under 350 power cycles All 4 channels are functional All voltage test points measure correctly A5 board has replaced electrolytic capacitors Slight damage to one of the air vents at the back. Visible in the pictures Missing one knob. Visible in the pictures When I received this scope it displayed the common Option-05 Error. I traced this to the leaking electrolytic capacitors on the A5 board. This is a very simple and very common problem with ... morethese scopes. I replaced the caps. Cleaned the board, and chose to also replace some of the SMD resistors and ceramic caps nearby that showed damage from the leaking caps. You can see the work in the very first close-up of the circuit board. Note that the cap at the other end of the A5 board was also replaced(not pictured) All of the power supply voltages measure correctly at the test point on the main board(I may update the listing with +/ percentages but I can't find my notes) I've put a lot of care into bringing this scope into operation. According to the Exerciser 05 test. It has less than 1000 hours of operation and under 350 power cycles(I've added a couple to the 320 number shown) but this number can be changed by the user so it may not be accurate. I have not changed it. However, I can tell you that the interior is spotless and all of the screws made that satisfying popping noise when I loosened them for the first time, indicating to me that this machine has never been opened. I cannot guarantee that I've fixed everything but it appears to be fully operational. I have not had it calibrated but it's spot on with the onboard reference signal(see pics)
