This scope is an absolute work-horse and has a lot of bells and whistles! Channels 1& 2 have selectable 50 ohm and 1Mohm inputs. Condition: The unit has been used and tested in my lab and works great. Functions(cursor measurements. AC/DC coupling, frequency counter, triggering, XY display mode. Beam finder, amplitude, horizontal sweep adjustments, alig nment. Accuracy. To name a few, etc. have been tested and work great. The highest RF signal I am able to produce in my lab for testing/displaying is 15MHz(see photo) All four input channels are working excellent(see first few photos for all 4 channel s displaying the same 200m Vpp. 1kHz, sin usoid al waveform at 100mV/div) Unit is in very clean cosmetic condition and has been used in a smoke-free lab environment. CRT is very clear and not scuffed up or damaged. Graticule. Focus, and intensity adjustments work well. This piece is well taken care of. Preserved, and is in excellent condition. But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working as well as new. ... more2465A was successor to best selling 2465 and predecessor to 2465B. 2465A added: keeping track of hours on, auto-scaling(idiotproof button) and front panel knob setting(setups) memory. I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup. I routinely replace the Li battery in 2465As I sell(doubt others do, since doing it deletes cal) This Tek 2465A. A 350MHz analog scope, will be sent to you freshly calibrated, and ready to use. Freq counter, tv sync, gpib) This specimen serial B011669 dates back to 1986. 2465A is a well designed 4channel 350MHz bandwidth portable package, made from mid-1986 to mid-1988, that apparently, would serve well for decades. Costs now only a tiny fraction of its $10000 new price, yet works as well as new, and if/when it should require repair, it is from the repairable era, so it can be fixed(unlike newer scopes) Will ... morebe shipped freshly calibrated. With instructions, power cord, and 90 days GUARANTY(my parts& labor, your shipping) READY TO USE! 1st photo shows the leading edge of a 1MHz 1Vpp square wave whose risetime(and that of the scope) shows up as about 1.05nS. Consistent with the capability of a 350MHz scope. This is a far more stringent test than others showing a scope can display trace zero signal lines or 1KHz signals. 2nd photo shows it has 13159 hours and 735 on/off power cycles. 3rd photo shows a 200MHz signal(upper limit of frequency counter option) painting entire screen with light to show glow uniformity(and lack of burn marks) of phosphor. 4th photo shows 2465A frequency counter reading on 10MHz from time mark generator. 5th photo shows a 1KHz Time Mark gen signal displayed in dual time base mode with faster sweep 10 X faster than slower sweep. 2465A was Tek's high end portable scope from 1986 to 1988. It cost $6000 new. But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working as well as new. 2465A was successor to best selling 2465 and predecessor to 2465B. 2465A added: keeping track of hours on, auto-scaling(idiotproof button) and front panel knob setting(setups) memory. I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. Tektronix 2465A 350MHz Oscilloscope +10x Probe | 4 Channel | Tested As-Is Here is a well used Tektronix 250MHz 4 Channel Oscilloscope. It will come with 1 10:1 probe. It shows some signs of age and is out of calibration. It is missing the knob covers for the intensity. Focus, and scale illumination knobs. All other knobs and switches are present. When we first tested this model it was producing 2 images for each source.we managed to get this to go away however it still occasionally produces multiple waveform images on its screen when there should only be one. After it warmed up it started doing a better at reproducing our waveform from the input. It was not very good at reproducing low Hz signals.anything below 100Hz looked like DC Offset being turned off and on. Our conclusion? This machine is in need of a good calibration. We are not 100% ... moresure of this. So this listing is to be considered on an As-is basis. Not quite parts/ repair.but too much wrong to be considered used.
