But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working correctly. 2252 is identical to 2247A, but adds an unusual feature for an analog scope: a printer port(which means it includes a slow digitizer) actually 2: a GPIB and a Centronics. These ports are compatible with printers of the late 80s/early 90s era, such as Tek HC200, HP 2225, and other Epsom compatible dot matrix printers. Up for auction is a Tektronix 2215 60MHz Analog Oscilloscope and leads. I purchased this scope about three years ago with intentions of learning how to use it. It has been sitting. Collecting dust, so time to pass it on. At the time of purchase(estate sale) I was assured that it worked. Included leads: Hitachi Denshi AT 10AJ Probe( used this for testing) BK Precision PR- 40 Probe- 1x& 10x(did not test this probe) 1 grounding strap to connect to probe Please use photos to determine/ confirm condition. 2465A was Tek's high end portable scope from 1986 to 1988. It cost $6000 new. But you can now get it for a tiny fraction, working as well as new. 2465A was successor to best selling 2465 and predecessor to 2465B. 2465A added: keeping track of hours on, auto-scaling(idiotproof button) and front panel knob setting(setups) memory. I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The front cover doesn't attach properly due to one of the lower lock tab being broken. There are two probes included that store in the front cover. When testing the various knobs, the level button causes sporadic dim display about the half-way mark but restores on both sides through-out the full range of the knob. I started to take out the Vertical board to change out the X1, X10 lamps( when you plug in X10 probe to channel 1, both lamps lite) Started to take out the board and caused chan 1 to just go weird. See pic, now a constant High Freq ripple, and decompression as you move the trace vertically top to bottom. Chan 2 is okay. And +55V shows 20mv of this High Freq ripple. I put time marks in chan 2 so that you can see the Horizontal. Only have 3 of the 4 feet that belong on the rear of the scope. Also found a leaky Cap"C1534 3uf 150v not replaced.
