At the time. This oscilloscope was purchased from a knowledgeable seller, unit#3 of 5 units they had available. I had originally intended to learn repair work but that opportunity never materialized. Therefore this scope was never used by me. I selected this particular model after much research and recommendations from industry techs with a history of repairing recent equipment and vintage components. The Tektronix 465B Oscilloscope was considered the industry standard in 100MHz portable oscilloscopes for many years and still remains very desirable today. The unit has a white sticker on top that says"calibrated" so it's been bench tested for accuracy at some point. I am not familiar with how this unit functions. Therefore the unit must be sold as is, however the unit powers on fine and appears to work as it should. Extra time was taken to research and purchase the correct genuine Tektronix test probes and instruction manual that are best compatiable with the Tektronix 465B. Vertical sensitivity goes down to 5mV/div. Horizontal sweep goes to 2ns/div(10X) Unit has all kinds of sweep and trigger modes. Total weight is about 24 pounds. Used unit in good physical and electrical condition. We have checked this unit out and it seems to be in good operating condition. The B +/ trigger switch does operate. But the shaft seems to be loose inside the unit. It may need calibration as the last calibration sticker I see on it is 1976. It is in good cosmetic condition and all of the knobs and buttons operate fine. I notice the upper left"position knob" wobbles a bit but works fine. The handle is solid and stable. No case damage. Has a built in top pouch to hold the 4 probes and tips which are included. A used TAS 465 100 MHz scope in very good operational and tested condition. This is a one owner unit. Heavy duty fan cooled top of the line quality Tektronix workhorse of a scope. Analog scope with digital features. Autoset function and cursor measurement of timing. Frequency, and Voltages. Complete with Instruction manual and quick reference guide. Includes probes complete with"witches hats" hook on probe adapters. Unit has normal wear and tear including some scuffs/ light scratches on the graticule. Right hand side of graticule is slightly darkened. May be some dust inside perhaps on the CRT but does not look like burn in. Small dent on top cover about 1/2" in length. This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks on the casing of the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are in good condition and all words and numbers are visible. The screen is in good condition with no cracks or burned in areas. All the inputs and outputs are in good condition with no dents or cracks. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We connected this item to a function generator(not included) and were able to test all channels without any issues.
