Then look no further… offered today for your review is a Heathkit Model 10-12 Laboratory Oscilloscope in Extraordinary Condition. This scope powers up just fine and shows a trace bar where I was able to get several patterns while playing on the CRT Display. Cosmetically it is in excellent condition showing only light wear as the photos show. The beam is in focus and adjusts up/down/narrow and wide. All the knobs turn correctly. Smoothly and as they should without restriction. Test leads are included but I have no manual. I have seen manuals listed right here on eBay for this model so one could be easily acquired ... moreif desired. Please understand- I’m not knowledgeable with this type of equipment and I have no way to properly test it. I did take the time to research the scope and found an interesting web site that detailed its functionality and features which I’m passing along to you. It reads; The Heathkit 10-12 is a single-trace vacuum tube oscilloscope. The 10-12 has horizontal and vertical inputs on the front panel. As well as a place to connect an external trigger. The 10-12 also has a z-axis input, though it is well concealed. The user must unscrew a small metal hatch from the back of the unit to gain access to the z-axis connector. All connecters are the banana plug style common on older scopes, instead of more modern BNC connectors. The screen diameter is an ample five inches, and rotary knobs are used for all front panel operations. The horizontal frequency scale has two user presets, which can be set by inserting a screwdriver into a pair of holes on the right of the timebase control. You will be bidding on a vintage 1954 Heathkit Oscillscope. I do not know much about these. Except that this model was introduced in Aug 1954 and made in Benton Harbor, Mich USA. When this one is plugged in the green light does come on, and it will change with the turns of the knobs. It works on both settings in the back- the internal and the external. The case does have a few scuffs and scratches, also a light layer of dust. All the knobs are in place, except for the lower left hand red one, which I have replaced with a electrical cap. Here's a very nice 2213A scope. Everything is working fine. This has a delayed sweep with excellent triggering. This will trigger on alternate sweeps as shown in the picture. The frequency response is very conservative and it's only about 6 db down at 100 Mhz. It triggers fine at 100 MHz. This includes the front cover. These newer Tek scopes are generally more reliable than their earlier scopes.
