The photos here may be somewhat confusing as I was initially going to list these three together. This auction is for the 7B53A S/N B189904 only. It shows little evidence of use with no dings or scratches and like the other two is fully functional. All of these trigger to 125 mhz or so and show good timing accuracy and sweep linearity. They are fully checked out however I did not formally calibrate them. These are best matched with the 74xx. 75xx and76xx mainframes but work well in all of 7000 Series. Two Tektronix 7A15A 7000 Series Plug-Ins, 100 Mhz., Tested, Ham Radio
Here are two 7A15A plug ins which will work in all 7000 series mainframes. One of them I modified with a signal out port and is for parts only. Electrically it is intact. S/N B063333 is fully checked out but not formally calibrated. It's late production. Clean and works great. It did 98 mhz. in my 7704A with great transient response(see photo) and over 100 in my 7904. Its greatest benefit is the 10X mag feature which gets you to 500uv/div. with a reduced bandwidth of 13 mhz. Typically these do 80-85 mhz. in a 100 mhz. mainframe. I am clearing out some items in order to create space so check out my other items for sale. Shipping shown is worst case and will be less if you are close to 45167. Here is a ektronix 7B50 Time Base. It has been thoroughly tested and is guaranteed to be in fine working order and good cosmetic condition with a few scratches and signs of use. As shown in the photos. Only the Tektronix 7B50 Time Base and Instruction manual with schematics ares included in this auction. No cabels. Mainfrome, or other plugins. The 7B50 and 7B51 Time Base units are recommended for use with the 7400. 7500, 7600 and Storage FAMILIES to provide bandwidth/sweep speed compatibility. However, the 7B50 and 7B51 may be used in any 7000-Series mainframe. They are identical units except in two particulars. In combination. Tektronix 7A17 7000 Series Plug-In, Weinschel Attenuator, 50 ohm, 260 mhz, Radio
Another one from an ex-Tek O Scope designer. This was my first 7000 Series plug-in. At the time all I had was a 90 mhz mainframe but I wanted a decent 50 ohm plug-in since my experimental interests were in the frequency domain. I built it using my internal parts discount and modified it for RF use. Hence the 10% overshoot shown which is slightly over maximally flat and ends up with a bandwidth of 260 mhz. in my 7904. The attenuator was purchased from Tek Surplus and is a prize. It's 60db in 10 db steps and is a Weinschel 2981-1. It is clearly overkill in that it was used in spectrum analyzers of ten times the bandwidth. I am trying to reduce my inventory so this is now for sale. Also included is the original manual which shows the changes I made to the basic design. The shipping quoted is worst case. If you are close to 45167 hold off ... morepaying until you are invoiced the correct amount. I do ship to Canada and Internationally on a limited basis. Obviously.
