Item Description This is for a tested and working color DRAM processor board for a Tektronix TDS744A part number 679-3488-00. Or 671-3488-00. It came from a working TDS744A with options 1M, and 2F. Firmware is v4.2.1e which is the latest version for the 744A. This board should also work in the TDS644B, 684B, 724A, 784A, and possibly other models. It may require a firmware flash to work with models other than the TDS744A. Note that if your old board has a different firmware version. You will probably need to do a full recalibration because the CAL constants stored on the acquisition board are firmware specific. If you have v4.2.1e you will not need to do a recalibration. Condition It passes all self tests. And SPC. There are no signs of prior repairs. I am offering you a tested. Correctly working A5 Processor board(tek p/n 670-7279-xx) for your analog Tektronix 2400 plain(no suffix letter) series scope. Since these boards store calibration fudge factors for your scope, your scope should be recalibrated to re-establish correct fudge factors. If you do not have access to a Tek PG506 and a TG501, you may want to send entire scope to me for this work which falls under my other listing for $600 flat fee fee repair and cal. Typical A5 failure signs are freezing in self tests. Calibration fudge factors will be from a 2465 of mine. It fits analog 2445B, 2465B, 2467B made before serial# B049999 without surface mount technology. If you need the later version(tek p/n 671-0965-0X) that has SMDs, please see my other listings.
