893 John Deere corn head with head wagon
Up for auction is a John Deere 893 corn head and homemade head wagon. It is a contour master head and the drive shafts are in great shape.It also has headsight header height control that works good.It will plug right into the standard harness. The head is in very good mechanical shape. I have owned it for about 10 years and it has always been stored inside since I have owned it.I didn't clean it up before the pictures it is the way I put it away.Striper bars and rolls are in good shape and it has the standard rolls. Al it needs is greased and it is ready to go.The head trailer is homemade with very good tires and is included. I can load this if needed. The brackets for the corn reel do not go with it I forgot to take them off.

Item is as you see. It is functional but does need cord/plug I just put a light duty pigtail on to test. in the one picture if you look carefully you can see it is running. the screen is blurred and dust coming out of auger. I believe the feed auger is 6" they come apart as it just hangs from a hook and has a pto shaft to run off the drum. there is a small spot already patched and 1 that needs patched. I have some heavy wire and will try to get it done if I have a second set of hands to help me. I have it marked as pickup only but can load here on open truck/trail/semi or can deliver for a fee if not too far. I also have a for sale on ebay. I have both of these also for sale localy so may end auction early.

These have been used. They all still have a piece of rigid tubing attached as seen in the pictures. If you have the time to remove the previous tubing then this is the auction for you. Their condition is mostly"good. None are terrible. But they've been nicked up from usage so I won't try and fool anyone by saying they're"excellent. The price is close to fair. I would say that if you're in the market for pristine taps, then you'll want to pass on this auction and buy new from a maple dealer. But if you have time to sit down in a chair and work on removing the tubing that's still on them then you'll keep yourself from having to pay for new taps. I've cleaned up a couple hundred used taps in the past and sold them on ebay, but I have a youngster now and don't have the time to get these prepped. IHC International Potato digger in nice shape. Someone wrote oliver on the side but it is an international. Pto drive, have shaft, spun it and it spins the belt. Seems all there and looks in good shape. Not sure if hitch of supposed to be offset or if it was added, don't think its bent because the holes line up and the metal looks fine. Please look at pictures. They are the best way for you to see what you are buying. If you buy the item and you are not happy with it when once you inspect it IN PERSON. You do not have to take it. Cash is the best payment upon pickup. If you are not able to pick it up within two weeks a down payment via paypal of $100 is required.
