OLD ANTIQUE BAUME SCALE FOR SYRUP IN TUBE WITH METAL HOLDER MADE IN USA
This auction is for an all original Baume Scale for syrup. It is about 10 1/2 inches in length. No chips or cracks in the glass and it seems to be complete. The cardboard holder for the thermometer is about 12 inches in length. The metal holder is about 9 1/4 inches in length. Apparently the thermometer would have been put in the metal holder and hung on the side of whatever type of container was being used to head maple syrup or whatever type of syrup was being made. A candy store could have used something like this as well. I believe all of the items included in this auction are from the 1920's. This item is being sold as I found it. It does have age use and wear and can possibly be cleaned up a bit which I will leave up to you. Hay Wagon running gears- 8-10 ton- John Deere?
Adjustable 8-10 ton running gears. 5 lug. Has four different length holes. Currently sitting at just over 10 ft between axles. Has one more hole for extra length. Recently painted with good tires. Tongue is not extendable. Not sure of the make- looks like a John Deere that's been repainted red. The tag has been sanded over and the only numbers on it are 700 and below that is 9940. I bought this many. Many moons ago along with a 45 JD combine. It has not been used for 20 years, but has been stored in a shed. I was told that it will also fit on a John Deere 55 combine, but I have no way of knowing for sure. It weighs around 1800 pounds? and I have a crane and forklifts to load it with if you come pick it up. If you need it shipped. I think I can remove the snouts to make it shorter and strap it to a pallet- you pay the freight charges. I have a White 7300 combine with a 12 foot platform and a 4 row narrow corn head 4"30" yes it was a wide and cut down to a narrow. it has sit out for 6 months nice runs good gas 8 cylinder Chrysler. Everything works but the cylinder adjustment is froze up everything else works. The tires are good several new belts very nice combine for it age I have the owner's manual it is a 1974. This is a wagon gear from the late 1970's. It is one of the heavier runnings gears John Deere ever made. This is the rare model 1275 tandem axle 12 ton wagon gear. This is currently under my 125 Chuck Wagon and I think this gear is way too much for that wagon so I have a 1065A I will switch this wagon over too if this 1275 gear sells. If you buy this gear please allow me time to switch the wagon to the other gear. The reason I still have the wagon on this gear is because I am keeping this gear if I cannot sell it for the right price. Case IH specialty rotor for 1680-2388.....Excellent condition......No Reserve!!
Here is a specialty rotor out of a CaseIH 1688. It is in excellent condition and worked fine when it was taken out of the combine. The only reason it was replaced was to put the newer AFX rotor in the machine. There is very little wear on the rasp bars. I know it will fit a 1680 up to a 2388.not sure but I think it will also fit a 1480 machine as well. I do know that adding a specialty rotor to a mcahine that had a std rotor makes a difference like night and day.the specialty rotor is much more aggresive especially in beans and will add alot of capacity to your machine. Overall this is a good rotor that is ready to go right into your combine. I have put a low starting price on it and I have the buy it now at what I think it's actually worth.
