I’ve owned this GR 1115-B Standard for many years and took it out of service about 9 years ago. At that time it was operating properly and when I recently applied power to it and everything appeared to be working as it had. I no longer have the ability run tests on it so I’m selling it as is. It’s in nice condition and generally takes the typical 6 or 8 hours for the oven heaters and crystal to stabilize after it’s initially turned on. It’s equipped with batteries which should be replaced. This was the companion oscillator that was used with the General Radio Synchronometer which I'm also selling on ebay at this time. But I was able to verify DC continuity of the inductor by measuring the series resistance = 556 ohms +/ 1% at 70 degrees F. One terminal post knob is a substitute. This unit has some sticker residue and minor scrapes and scratches on the front panel and the housing. And it may need to be re-calibrated. It is in good working condition otherwise. It is designed for calibrating capacitance bridges and meters using a 120Hz test signal(not DC) At standard capacitance values of 1uF, 10uF, 100uF, 1mF, 10mF, 100mF, and 1F The internal circuit consists of a 1uF precision polystyrene capacitor. And an impedance transformer. The capacitor is connected directly to the test terminals at the 1uF dial setting.
