This was removed from the derrick of a large digger-derrick truck that had engine failure. The truck is not for sale. Only the digger parts that came from the boom in the photos. For sale is a used Bobcat 30C hydraulic auger attachment. I have repainted the unit as it was sitting outside and had started to fade. This auction includes the bobcat quick attach plate. The hydraulic power head set up for a round bit. The hex part sheared off, but I have seen plenty of adapters on eBay for cheap if you have hex bits. It also includes the piece that attaches the auger head to the quick attach plate or an excavator. The hoses are approximately 8' long with standard hydraulic quick connections. The auger has been tested for functions. Forward and reverse functions both work. There are no leaks. The hoses are a little rough. Some metal showing through the rubber, but the hoses and quick connects do not leak either. A couple of grease fittings are gone but they can be replaced. Ship zip code is 32065. Pengo DT-15 2 Speed Auger Drive w/ 15,448 Ft lbs of torque
This auger drive was used to dig 18" holes to a depth of 8' and performed flawlessly in our rocky and heavy clay Wyoming soils. It has a 3" hex shaft which can be adapted to other sizes. We finished the one job we purchased this for and dot anticipate doing any similar projects in the near future. if you have a heavy duty digging application where you need more power than a simple bobcat auger or need a new auger for a digger derrick this is what you need. It has 15.448 ft lbs of torque in high gear and about half that in low gear. WE had it mounted on a 20 ton excavator for what we were doing and even thought about mounting it on a large frame skid steer. It comes with about 15 ft of hoses and the mount for an excavator pin. The only major requirement is that whatever it is on has to provide 25 GPM of flow for it to shift to ... morehigh gear properly. Almost all of large frame skid steers these days have that.
