Flipped the switch and the green light came on and the D-C volts dial moved. No further testing was done. Someone(not me) broke the"channel select" knob on the front. It is dangling inside and still operates if you have a small blade screwdriver. But it would probably be best to replace it if you intend to operate this regularly. I removed the"Crystal Oscillator Assembly" panel and there is some sort of board in there. There are six adjustment screws along the front(probably related to the 6 channels? This is a very rare find. the NX-230 tube was made in 1925 era. The drawing/schematic is dated 1931. I know the tube is very rare. So to find it, and, the equipment that it goes with is awesome. The tube does light up, filaments are good. Crisp silver getter color. I never tried to make the oscillator work. I thought it was enough to just have it. It does look like someone added an old style phone jack on it. Look at pictures for box condition and face. This is going to be 100 years old soon.

Leader LCG-400 NTSC Pattern Generator -I can't see output- part/repair
I don't really know how to use it. Bit i did connect the composite output to a Monitor and couldn't get an image. Tried all kinds of switch settings. Looked inside. Boards look good no"fried" parts etc. I researched and found that people change the tantalum capacitors to repair these. There are a lot of those caps in there. I don't have the time to devote to repairing this so if you can get it to work or use it for parts. Better than me throwing away an expensive piece. The optioin side is a 400-01 VIDEO SWEMAR UNIT( don't know what that is. The switch baton for the audio source is broken off but switch still seems to work. Detachable cord( not included)
