Leader LCG-400 NTSC Pattern Generator -I can't see output- part/repair
I don't really know how to use it. Bit i did connect the composite output to a Monitor and couldn't get an image. Tried all kinds of switch settings. Looked inside. Boards look good no"fried" parts etc. I researched and found that people change the tantalum capacitors to repair these. There are a lot of those caps in there. I don't have the time to devote to repairing this so if you can get it to work or use it for parts. Better than me throwing away an expensive piece. The optioin side is a 400-01 VIDEO SWEMAR UNIT( don't know what that is. The switch baton for the audio source is broken off but switch still seems to work. Detachable cord( not included)

It can be powered from a 6 volt 250 ma power supply(not included) or 4"C" cells(preferred& easiest) It displays cross hatch. Dot and color bar patterns. Plus it will display a raster with individual ON/OFF buttons for red, green and blue. Great for setting gray scale. It also contains UHF, VHF High and VHF Low tuners which still come in handy when setting up or testing a modulated TV distribution system.
