ISKRA RESISTORS GUEST ELECTRONICS DEVELOPMENT PACK 0.25W 1/4W MANY VALUES BOX
This is a grey box labelled ISKRA DEVELOPMENT KIT. This has clear plastic tubes in it containing resistors. There are about 900(very approx. count) resistors in these tubes, about 700(approx. estimate) appear to be the original creamy coloured ISKRA 0.25W resistors 5% 10% most are NOS but a few are with twisted leads and or blobs of solder, but usually full lead length, so no doubt many(or all? will still be usable. Not all tubes are full, some are empty, others only have a few, but many have about 2 dozen or more. There is a good assortment of values over the 900 or so resistors even though some values are missing(none in the tube) Quite a lot of the resistors which are not Iskra I recognise as Piher(dark reddish brown body) And I also saw some old style Carbon Composite(square end) also there are some green body coloured ones which may ... morebe high spec types.It is possible there may be a few of higher/lower wattage than the supposed original 1/4W in there too as some size difference was seen. I have taken several photos of this lot so please have a look and judge for yourself. The original box/resistors are many decades old(1960's-70's era we think) and clearly the box has had good use. Is well worn, and the material is coming apart but it still does hold the tubes OK and the hinged lid does work although overall the box is poor condition. The tubes are generally in good condition,a few might have split/damage to the plastic, generally the resistors are nice and clean inside. Several of the paper labels on the red tube tops have gone missing/fallen off, probably due to the glue drying out. Where I found a label I have stuck it back on with"Pritt" but several have gone for good(see pictures) I estimate these components date from the 1960s and/or 1970s. In view of their age and the impracticality of testing c900( I sell this via auction as a"sold-as-seen" lot. I cannot give any kind of guarantee as to suitability/function/reliability in any intended use or application hence sale under eBay
