Nice Vintage Ford 600 Tractor W/ 3 Point 8' Rear Scraper Blade 8N 9N NO RESERVE!
This auction is for a Ford Model 600 Tractor which I am ASSUMING is from the 1950's. This tractor runs PERFECT. And shifts through all of the gears exactly as it should. It has a few scratches, dings, chips, dry tires etc, but still looks VERY nice considering it's age. It has 3 point in tact, the PTO works as it should, 6 volt battery system, electric start, new rims, and the 8' blade shown in the pics will come with it as well. There are a few leaks here and there, the brakes work fine but are a little sticky(You have to pull em up with your foot) and the tach will need to be repaired or replaced if that's important to you. Ford 8N Restoration Sherman Hi/Lo Transmission 12 volt Nice Nice NO RESERVE!!!!
I hope I'm not doing the wrong thing listing this special 8N with no reserve. It is not your ordinary run of the mill 8N. To begin with. It has the rare Sherman High/ Low transmission which gives you twice as many speeds and I'm told a top speed of 30- 35 mph. on pavement. How cool is that? The tread is great with a little weather checking on the rears and Brand new front tires on both sides. To top this. The rear tires are"loaded" meaning that they are filled with calcium chloride for better traction. I have included lots of pictures and at least one focused on each tire. The tractor starts and runs great with no leaks and does not burn oil. It just had a tune up with new points. Distributor cap, wires, and spark plugs. Steering is fairly tight. Brakes are good. PTO and three point hitch work. The paint is nice but I don't ... moremean to indicate that it is professional at all. If you are looking for a show tractor restoration it will need some further attention. It has a new seat pan and some matching headlights that still need to be wired up. Here's one more plus: The tractor was rewired and converted over to a 12 volt system with a 12v alternator for better charging. Starting, and reliability. What more could you ask for in a tractor that was built like a tank. Is simple and easily re-buildable, and parts availability is super? Ford 3000 Tractor Nice strong diesel with power steering!
This is a real nice working tractor. Everything. But the tack works as it should, including the headlights. Tack does not work because of the new 12 volt alternator. Was told motors was rebuilt, don't know when or how long ago. Has not been used much at all in the last 3 years. Starts right up holds 60 pounds of oil pressure all day long, temp never goes over half way, brakes work okay they stop you, but might want to put some new pads on someday. Three point hitch works great, power steering, 8 speed transmission works nice and smooth, does not pop out of any gears, has locking differential, has new clutch same time motor was rebuilt again don't know how long ago, but feels like new. I have used it and it works great. Pto works great, very strong tractor and just sips the fuel. Tires are okay not new, but work well. Late 40's Vintage- Nice, Nice - Ford 8N Tractor
My father just recently passed away and this was his tractor. He purchased it a few years ago because he loved the sound of the Ford 4cyl engine and this tractor had just been restored as well as having the engine rebuilt. He used it a few times to pull the Veterans float in the Stephentown Memorial Day parade. Other then that it has been stored in his garage. It has new tires. I have video of the tractor running which I will be happy to email you. I'm not exactly sure what year it is. By the extremely low serial number and the hood as well as the distributer it appears to be a 47 or 48. I don't know much about this tractor other then what dad told me. Ford 3500 Tractor Loader NICE! AUTOMATIC!! Diesel 3 Point Hitch
Ford 3500 Industrial Tractor- Loader Description: Nice find here! Ford Industrial 3500 tractor- loader in good running shape and mostly ready to work! This machine starts well for a diesel and runs excellent- see the video below. The loader hydraulics work properly and can lift quite a bit of weight. There's an enclosed cab for working in inclement weather. A super-duty battery right in the cab, and even a 3 point hitch on the back! No PTO with this transmission setup, but the hitch is there, Currently. The hitch is attached to a large ballast box filled with bricks, but this can be removed if the buyer wishes. Best of all, this machine has a torque converter transmission! That's right- 4 speeds, forward and reverse, and fully automatic! This makes loading and unloading jobs super easy because the transmission reverses with the flip ... moreof a lever- no shifting transmission gears just to change direction. And how about this- the hour meter works! Shows 1828 and looks to be original- it's still ticking away as we run it around the shop! Paint on the machine is good overall with some rust spots beginning to show through. The power steering cylinder has a slight drip from one of the lines. And one radiator hose looks to be getting worse for wear and will need replacement soon. The hydraulics operate well but skip a bit when the machine is cold- this can be seen in the video below. As the unit warms up. The skipping goes away.The loader shows no signs of straining under load and can easily pick up a full bucket of dirt or gravel. 1952 Ford 8N tractor for sale with a Davis full hydraulic loader and Sherman Trans. This is a very good running tractor with no smoke. Original 6 volt system. It has newer(in the past 6 years) plugs. Battery, exhaust manifold, tail pipe and some new hydraulic lines. The oil and filter cartridge were changed less than 5 run time hours ago. The tires are ~75% good. Ford 8000 diesel tractor runs good nice clean original tractor
I bought this tractor at a auction the other day and it runs good. It is pretty straight and original from what I see. I am not a ford person but this thing seems like it would be some good cheap horsepower. It started right up shifted through all the gears the 3 point and PTO worked like they should. The rear tires are not in the best shape. I did notice a small fuel leak but it was getting real late and I did not check it out very good but it seemed like it was a mess maker nothing major. 1940 Ford 9-N Tractor serial number 9N 20505. I have had this tractor for 2 years last year before I put it away for the winter it ran excellent it still runs excellent with no smoke but you need to have about 1/4 choke on or it wants to die, probably just needs carb. cleaned as it had gas in it all winter, the sheetmetal is in excellent sondition the paint is very nice has a few light scratches which you cant hardly see but is like a new car finish, brakes, transmsiion and PTO work excellent the three point works great, has a roginal set fo lights on it but they are currently not working, the rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 11.2/28 they are older tires with 70% tread with some light checking no big cracks and will last for many years, also has the step up transmission which works great, this gives it a high range and in high ... moregear it really moves, the block has a patch on it it is by where the serial number is on engine I took a photo fo it, but the oil is clean other than the patch on block it is a show tractor would make a excellent parade or tractor ride tractor. Ford 8N Tractor, New Tires, Lots Of Work Done to it, Very Nice Shape!!
We bought this tractor from a friend of ours 3 years ago that was in bad health. He owned the tractor for years and done several extensive repairs to it. I did have a list of everything he had done. But lost it and can't rememeber everything. I am 99% sure that he did overhaul the engine and rebuild the trans among other things and had low hours on them. I have never used the tractor and am selling off everything i have that im not using or is earning it's keep. The sheet metal is nice on the tractor. Has a little rust wanting to come into the hood which you will see in the pics. Not bad though. The paint is not new, but has a good appearance. Tractor has new tires, runs like a clock, does not smoke or mis a lick, all gears work, good clutch, everything works. I have not tried the lights but I think they do work also. This auction is for a real nice 1948 Ford 8N farm tractor that came out of a collection that was traded to us a couple of years ago. It has a 4 cylinder 2.0 liter gas engine that runs like a sewing machine. The manual shift transmission has 4 forward and 1 reverse gear. Tires are new and the wheels are very nice. It was probably restored several years ago but was stored in a climate controlled garage"showroom" until it was traded to us. We put it in the back of the warehouse and it has been there for a little more than a year. Starts right up. Runs smooth and nice and all gears work perfectly. This is a 1943 2N Ford Tractor. It is VERY NICE(come see) Many comments at shows about the paint! Tires are excellent. Runs Excellent. Sherman 2 speed transmission gives you a total of 6 forward and 2 reverse. 3 point hitch. 540 PTO. still 6 volt electrical system. When restored all tires, wheels and fenders were new, no calcium has ever been in these tires. I have owned this tractor for 3 years and keep it covered in a heated garage. Everything works as it should! If I am reading the serial number on the engine correctly(it is very hard to read) This tractor has an Ford 8N engine in it.
