Minneapolis Moline 335 A1W
I'm telling you everything I know about this tractor. Good and bad. By the end of this description you will know 10 times more than I knew about it when I bought it in person. This tractor is considered a rough restoration, meaning its restored enough to show it at shows and have it in an antique collection, but isn't restored to pristine condition. But this means you can drive it around and start it up and not worry if it its gonna get dirt on the tires. I will start by explaining the problems the tractor has. The tractor has power steering but the steering is a little loose. The transmission case leaks some oil out the axle housing. I did some work on the grill and repainted the grill and had a professional paint shop match the color as close they could to the original color. The previous owner made a auxiliary hydraulic fluid tank ... moreunderneath the seat. The seat sometimes can hit into the tank if you go over a big bump. But it hasn't been a problem. The left and right wheel brakes are kind of locked together from being painted but should break loose. A small crack has formed on the front axle, it isn't too concerning and could be welded easily. Now for the good. The tractor has a strong running engine that runs smooth at all engine speeds. New Starter and a new muffler. The tractor is a rare show piece and gets a lot of attention. Sliding gear transmission is in great condition and the amplitorque(powershift) works great. The amplitorque transmission allows you to shift from low to hi or hi to low in any gear without clutching or stopping. All lights work. Everything besides the external hydraulic fluid tank is original. Notice: this is a local pick up only. Buyer will arrange and pay for shipping. Payment is expected within 3 days of the sale. They all work It has good brakes Rear tires are 16.9.28 30% Front tires are 40% with some cracking All the tin work is nice for the age of the machine. Tractor Minneapolis Moline with Loader, Runs, Antique
Old Tractor and Loader. Runs and works, Serial Number 611 104 Model ZTS made in 1951 or 52. We think. Introduced in 1937 the Model"Z" tractor was popular from the start. It was rated at 32 belt hp. The Model Z and the Model R had a unique engine design. The valves set at a horizontal angle while the cylinders set vertical. Instead of having push rods and lifters the long rocker arms ran off the camshaft to the valves. This design eliminated approximately 154 parts and made it possible to set the valve clearance, remove the pan and work on the bottom end of the engine while sitting in a chair. Because of the cylinder head design a greater amount of turbulence was created in the combustion chamber increasing the horsepower and fuel efficiency of the engine. Minneapolis Moline MM Propane LP Tractor model G
I got this tractor many years ago. It is a Minneapolis Moline G propane. I do not know if it is a conversion or if it came from the factory as a propane. It was used on a stationary water pump driven from the front of the tractor. Someone replaced the carburetor and regulator with an aftermarket with never worked right when we got it started. The engine would idle just fine but would not power up. I parted out another propane G and kept the carburetor and regulator to put on this tractor. I cleaned up the carburetor. All parts are working just fine but did nothing to the regulator. Almost always they are just fine. I never got around to putting it on. Am sending all these part with tractor as you can see in picture# 12. The rear tires hold air but are in bad shape. Front tires are new 7.50-16. Tractor needs work but is complete and is a good ... morecandidate for restoring. Please look at pictures carefully to determine value for yourself. Adding items from time to time.
