1971 International Harvester 856 Farmall IH tractor w/ cab, loader, M&W turbo
Farmall 856 w/ cab and Stanhoist Loader This tractor came from an estate near Lincoln Nebraska. Been sitting in a shed for last 3 years. It is a 1971 model, hour meter says 6300 but doesn't work, factory cab in pretty good shape, heat, no ac. This tractor has all the factory options- tilt steering, hydro cushion deluxe seat, dual remotes, dual(540& 1000rpm) PTO, 3 point hitch. Engine runs great. Very snappy and lots of power, starts right up, even in cold weather. Has a block heater. Outfitted with the M&W turbo setup. Shifts into all gears, no noises or clunks, T/A slips in low side(typical IH trait) Clutch and brakes fine. Front spindle"knee" is cracked(see pic) No big oil leaks anywhere. New batteries. The loader is a Stanhoist. It functions but has been welded up a few times. The bucket is sprung, pins are loose. ... moreCylinders hold good, no leaks. Also comes with a set of rear tire chains! not in pics) Besides the loader. This is a pretty straight and clean tractor. Good running International tractor 35-45 hp. Model unknown but looking online shows to be approx. 1977-1985. No Smoke. Good compression on all 4 cylinders(1. 135(2. 139(3. 132(4. 137. Newer ignition points. New spark plugs, Left rear tire was recapped and is holding, rubber good all around, front tires are a little dry, Hydraulic Lift is VERY STRONG and Does Not Leak Down. PTO is live and works as it should. Hour meter shows 725 but looks like it hasnt worked in a few years HOWEVER. It does run VERY WELL witch indicates it may be close on hours. Brakes are good and lots of life left on them. Exhaust manifold has been repaired poorly at exhaust pipe flange. An arc welder and nickle rods from your local farm supply will fix it right up. Start right up every day even after sitting. NOT like the old fords: NO lights. Has electric fuel pump instead ... moreof manual one but its still on the engine. Steering is NOT sloppy. Wheel bearings are all good and clean. Wheels are in very good condition. Battery is good. Engine has GM 1 wire alternator conversion Air filter is 4 months old& clean. Oil is 4 months old and pretty clean. Mower is 5 feet wide and has a see through deck.lol. rusty deck but isn't affecting anything. Mower gearbox is approx. 2 years old. Rear mower wheel bracket is bent but easy fix if you want. Tractor leaks a little oil from front of engine and a little from rear under middle of axle. The oil pan was replaced a year ago due to leaking and is fine now. At any rate this is a good running TURN KEY TRACTOR ready to work I used it for mowing a little around the house but have no need for it anymore. Up for sale is a good honest 706 Diesel tractor with work heat. A/C, Lights. I bought this tractor to plant with and finished up with no issues. Planted 17 acres of oats and 102 acres of corn without trouble. I love this tractor but dont need it. Upon purchase I changed the engine oil and filters, fixed a few leaks and yes it still has a few but nothing major. I cleaned and toped off the 134a cooling system and yes it works great! Working lights, had no trouble planting after dark. Has 18.4 34 firstone supers on back at 80% Fronts are 7.5L 15 had one go flat but it will be put back on. Has 600lbs of rear wheel weights and tires are loaded with fluid. 3 75lb front suitcase weights. Runs great purrs like a kitten. It is used and does need some small things to be 100% complete. The lights and gauges do not work. The tires are in good condition and hold constant air. The seat is very nice. The gears and trans work as they should. Pto. And up and down also work as they should. It has Yellow Anti-freze in it and does not leak. There is also a sepetate screen infront of the radiator for quick and easy cleaning. We are moving and down sizing from a farm to a home witha smaller size lot. 1958 International Farmall Cub Tractor Runs Great! With Plow, Disc, and Drag
This is one sweet Farmall Tractor. We moved to the farm in 1963. By checking the serial number 210560 J, on the tractor, it looks like this one is a 1958. Dad used it on the farm for mowing, plowing the garden each year and regular farm stuff. We moved off the farm in 1974, and dad put it in his shop. It sat there until he passed away in about 2001. At that time, I drained the carburetor, added fresh fuel and got it running enough to load it on my trailer and take it to the local International dealer. They went through it, tuned it up and replaced any parts as needed. After $1,800 bucks, I had a great running tractor. I used it that summer plowing, discing, dragging and planting about 4 acres. After that summer, as life works, I then put in storage once again. This past week I drained the carburetor and tank, added a new battery, put in fresh ... morefuel, and fired it up. It ran great! Nice and smooth, no misses or hiccups! It has the sickle bar mower, the disc, the drag and the plow. It has the fast hitch system and the hydraulics work great as well as the PTO. The rear light does not work, but I haven't checked the bulb. If you're looking for a great Farmall Cub tractor, you just found it. If you want to fully restore it, you're almost there! Farmall International 140 tractor with L306 woods mower and complete snow blade
This is a 1969 Farmall 140 restored from the ground up the right way. All new seals and gaskets in engine. Transmission, axles and bulls gears, everything from top to bottom. I welded 1/2" drain plugs in the bull gear pans so the gear lube can be changed without removing the pans, plugs are the allen type. All new fluids through out complete tractor. Complete new tune up, cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires, points, oil filter. New triple baffle gas cap. New water pump and new hoses and clamps. All lights work and generator charges battery. New battery box, top is included just was off when the picture was taken but is now on, new seat, and new floor mat which was purchased from Tim Fail at Farmall140.com, new steering wheel and center cap. This tractor has an industrial front axle completely rebuilt with new bearings and seals and new tie ... morerods, and rebuild steering box. This steering is tight with no free play. All tires removed from rims then sand blasted primed and painted. New tires and tubes on front. New tubes in rear NO fluid. Rear tires are about 80- 90% no weather check. All sheet metal and all parts were sand blasted before primmer and paint. New muffler. Engine is good, no smoke does not burn oil, all cylinders are 140 psi on compression test. I had the head redone, hot tanked magna fluxed new hardend seats installed and valves ground. Hydraulics work great with no leaks. Also comes with a complete snow plow with all parts and pins/mounting hardware, and a set of front and rear weights. Also included is both style rear rock shafts and both controls arms. A helper spring for a fast hitch. Also included is a extra set of rim centers i was gonna use them for turf tires but never got any. The woods mower is in very good shape with about 2 hours on the new belt, i mows very nice, i have not installed it on the tractor since the restoration but can if you wish i will leave that up to you. International FARMALL 460 Gas Tractor w/3-PT and Available DU-AL Loader
This auction is for a very straight. Strong running, gas 460 Farmall w/3-pt. It starts easily and runs smooth. The power steering, brakes, PTO and 3 sets of hyd outlets all work. The gears are quiet and smooth. The tires are great-the rears only have slight wear(the size imprint is still readable on the top of the lugs) one front is near new and the other has some weathering, but is solid. The tin work is very straight with the only issue being a small break in the upper grill. The tach and the t/a do not work. The auction is for the tractor only, however I am offering to the buyer, a DU-AL 300 loader that fits on the tractor real nice-the paint on the loader is poor and it does have some welds, but it is in good repair and makes a good solid unit when mounted correctly and the mounting bolts are kept tight. The guy owned this more than 20 years. Right when he bought it, it was supposed to have had an engine overhaul(at approx 5700 hrs) It has always started and ran perfect for him. Two years ago, he had the injection pump overhauled because it was dripping a bit by the throttle shaft. Tractor light up quick even cold, and runs good with no excessive smoke or blowby. Tractor hits all gears good, the t/a works, dual hydraulics pto and 3pt all operate as they should. Hydraulic assist clutch is a nice feature and works well. PTO turns on and off like its supposed to. Front lights work, cab lights are not working, but it appears like a disconnected wire. Paint is good, not professional but clean and sharp from a ways off! Tractor is right and ready. should be a good horse for a ton of different farm chores! Previous owner ran 80 acres of cash crop.
