John Deere 730 Diesel Standard Electric Start
Up for auction I have a 1960 John Deere 730 diesel standard electric start. It's serial number: 7324483. It has the rare adjustable front in good non broke condition. The tractor runs great. It does need two new battery's and a couple battery cable ends. The cables are good but the ends are junk. It has the original starter. Bracket, throttle linkages, and breather. I pull start the tractor and it starts instantly. The clutch is good and it shifts as it should. The brakes are a little weak but they aren't froze up. It is full of good clean antifreeze. The flywheel and clutch drive are both right on the splines. The fenders are in great condition with a few dents but no rusting so they would clean up nice. The hood and nose are in good condition as well. I don't see anything wrong with it other then needing some battery attention. ... moreI've used it quite a bit around the farm pulling random stuff. It hasn't let me down yet. The power steering works and the front end seams good and tight. The original tach works and reads 1745 hrs. I'm not sure if this is correct but the drawbar shows low wear. All four tires hold air. The rear rims are in good non rotted condition, and the tires are about 30% matched tread but weathered. It is missing the top pre cleaner bowl. Overall it's a nice old rare tractor. Factor electric start tractors don't show up often in this good of condition. 1937 Farmall F20 tractor-electric start/road gear
I am listing some tractors this week for sale. Helping a friend sell them. As always will described them to the best of my ability, check out my feedback I have been doing this for a long time. This is a 1937 Farmall F20 tractor that was restored about 7 years ago. Motor was overhauled and tires, paint etc were done to it. Tires still are like new, it was just taken out of the shed for the photos. Serial number is FA93815, it is missing the toolbox with the tag attached. The frame rail and block match. No welds on the tractor. Starter was rebuilt last time it was used for a parade, that's what the white piece is for on the side. Seems like the carb or tank must have some varnish or rust in it now though as it wont stay running and has a hard time to start. So selling it as needing a little bit of cleaning up. Had this project for a while. No longer have the room for it. New pistons and bearings. Has 3 point and pto. Rear tires are excellent. Will need new tires fronts sooner than later. Look at the pictures for condition. Missing the starter,flywheel cover, and clutch cover. Has adjustable front end. Hole out of the axle housing years ago from a front end loader. Original 1949 Farmall H Tractor, Electric Start, New Tires, Maintained, Nice!
For Sale: A 1949 Farmall H Tractor that is in original condition and it has been maintained through the years by three families. The H runs great. Shifts fine in all gears, sounds fine, and has no mechanical issues. We are selling this tractor due to too many items accumulating here through the years at our farm in Central Illinois. Pics were taken just before we went into winter, tractor has been stored since. Tractor has recently been tuned up(within the last year) Has two new tires on the rear as shown, has had magneto work to run properly, and has had some misc. electrical and carb work done(new bump starter switch, carb rebuild etc. as needed. We purchased this tractor from a distant relative of my father's here locally and have used it since for light pulling of wagons and hay racks, in some hay work and mowing, in some fencing ... morework, and in an occasional parade or tractor drive. Sheet metal looks good, could be restored or left as is- all is very functional and presentable. There is one fender missing and I noticed a slight exhaust leak where the muffler clamp is, but nothing other than that. Tractor starts right up and is a pretty nice unit. Previous relative used it for some manure spreader pulling and wagon pulling. Front tires look good, hold air fine but do have some light cracking as shown- has the narrow front end. Selling tractor as is and as shown, no warranty. Selling with no reserve here on eBay. 1945 John Deere H Antique Tractor electric start, hydraulics, PTO, extra parts
I have A 1945 john deere h its a barn find. I got it running I had a junk battery 12 volt battery and I jump started it that way. It will run but the carb must still have some crud in it. And the linkage needs some adjustment. It has a live hydraulic pump and pto. The rims are ok all around and tire's not bad I just had a boot put in the back tire on the left. The sheet metal is good and usable shape. The shifter will pull out but I think it just needs a new e clip on it? I also have extra parts that go with it like extra hood& gas tank. 1948 John Deere G tractor. Serial number 27742, this tractor is running in the photos, it runs good, it has been sitting and not run much in the last few years, there may be a little dirt or rust in carb. but lately we have been using it and it run fine, maybe it got its bugs worked out, it does run good, does not smoke and has good high oil pressure, it always fires right up, it does have the DLTX#51 Big Nut Carburator, new muffler, front rims are john Deere with 90% tread four rib front tires, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 13.6/34 at 80% tread older tires with some cracks, it has a new muffler, original PTO shield, the PTO works good, also has hydraulics, the clutch and transmission both work good, has a HI/LO that works good, brakes are working about 50% they will stop tractor, battery box is good and solid, has ... moreoriginal lights that do work, the rear has the red light that also works, has set of shutters, also has the always missing flywheel guard, the sheetmetal is very sooid there are a few dings but it is solid and would restore easily, it has an older reapint still looks good, or it is a work horse and is ready to go to work, John Deere G's are very sought after tractors and dont some up for sale very often, this is a good tractor that is selling NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. 1938 FARMALL IHC F20 ELECTRIC START GOOD RUNNER
This is a 1938 FARMALL F20 with electric start in running condition. It is running in pictures with no smoke. Full of antifreeze with no cracks or welds to block. It is on factory cast all around with solid rims. Tires are mismatched and are black and round. Needs a valve cover gasket and oil cups in valve cover. Manifold is rotted out on exhaust side and needs replaced. Gasket between trans and diff leaks. Could use a tune up and a carb cleaning as it has been setting for some time. Steering wheel is cracked. There is no battery box. This would be a good restore project since most of the faults are easy repairs. You can email or call for more details. 317-767-4589. The tractor came out of a estate here local in Wisconsin, it was used as a toabcco cultivating tractor for the last 30 years, the tractor has many options includng the electric start with a good 6 volt battery, the original fenders which are a rare find, they are solid and in good condition, a few dings but solid and would restore easily, also has a PTO, it also has the light bracket and light shells but no lenses, the sheetmetal is very solid with a few dings, the tractor would restore easily, has a rare and always missing pair of shutters, original front caste rims in good condition one of the front tires does not hold air, the rear tires are 9.5/36 one at 90% tread in good condition the other is at 80% tread and older tire, has correct ... moreseat bracket and a good drawbar hitch, the tractor is running in the photos, it is running in the photos and runs very good with good oil pressure and does not smoke, the brakes and transmission both work good the PTO works as it should, there is a patch on the block it has been there for 20 years, if you are running it for 20 minutes you can start to see a little wetness by the patch but ti wont leak enough in a season of running to affect the level in the radiator, the oil is clean and no antifreeze getting in oil, you can clean this up and restore tractor as is or get a block and replace it, either way it is a very good running tractor that has all the options including RARE fenders.
