Farm Tractor 40 HP Diesel. No Reserve!!!
This is a 40 HP International diesel 423 tractor. The motor was completely rebuilt in October of 2012. It cranks easy with no smoke. The lift and PTO work well too. The tires have some weather cracking on but have plenty of tread and should still last a long time. The brakes need work and the lights are not working. The sheet metal is pretty good but the rear fenders do have some rust. It has one rear remote. The tractor has plenty of power and is strong. IT has never been painted. It has been stored in a garage for over 40 years. I had inherited it along with a working brush hog. And two plows along with manuals for the tractor and plows. It runs like a top. Does not use any oil. There are no leaks. The belt was squealing which was due to a water pump bearing. I replaced it with a new one and a Gates belt. There are some other new parts I had put on it in the last 4 years. A new muffler, battery. The oil has been changed frequently. The tires are calcium filled. The 6 volt system starts like a new one. YTO compact tractor, 30 hp, 4wd, with cab, only 40 hours!!!
Up for sale today is an almost new. Leftover stock YTO tractor. This sat on a dealer lot for a while, is an 07 model but has only 41 hours as I write this. Starts runs and drives great, in fact, yesterday morning started better than some more known brands I have in the yard on a brisk 15 degree morning. Has 4 speed transmission with high, low, and reverse. Must use clutch to shift. Four wheel drive, Rear 3 point hitch, two sets of hydraulic remotes, rear pto with 540 and 1000 settings. Also has a nice cab enclosure for the bad weather but no heat or ac. This is a chinese made tractor, info still available on their website. Please don't expect a fancy new tractor, it is not. This is a no frills, plain jane get the job done type of machine. Only thing I am aware does not work are two of the guages. My guess is probably never hooked up from ... morenew. john deere 820 or 920 tractor diesel 30-40 hp cheap!
Well folks. Older deere tractor fore sale today. Recent trade on a new tractor. Older machine, little rough around the edges but I'll tell ya what I know. I can't find a model plate anywhere other than on the engine and it is hard to read. By my research my best guess is that this is either an 820 or 920 model deere, which would put it in the late 60's or early 70's. If its an 820 its around 30hp, if a 920 should be around 40 hp. Has a good running 3 cylinder diesel, starts with no starting fluid, just a quick turn of the switch and starts immediately. Runs good and drives good. Has a standard transmission, clutch seems to be toward end of adjustment by feel but does not slip. One front tire leaks air. Also, can't confirm but thought I saw a coolant leak, may have just been water dripping on ground, didn't see it after? ... moreAnyhow, starts right up, drives fine, pto works and shuts off fine, 3 point hitch arms go up and down. Even has a remote. Rear tires in fair to good shape. Tine work is a bit rough and one fender is flopping around. Would make somebody a cheap haying tractor, wagon puller, etc. First $2600 buys it! Inspections welcome, please do not buy if you don't plan on following through. I've told all I know about the tractor, come see it if you have any further questions or doubts.
