Vintage 1953 John Deere 60 Antique Tractor Factory Wide Front Restored Showroom
JOHN DEERE 1953 MODEL 60 WIDE FRONT Wonderful tractor that has been lovingly cared for and restored by my husband and father in law. Tractor was bought in November 2006 from a single owner in Oklahoma as a project for my husband and father in law. During the past eight years the tractor has been meticulously maintained. Repaired and restored and spent the majority of her life(with us) in an indoor garage, out of the elements. We have sadly decided to sell her as children, grandchildren, jobs, lack of time, and other commitments keep us all too busy. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding, as all sales are final. They replaced with new parts the intake. Exhaust manifold, all new gauges and sensors, some new gaskets and seals, all fluids changed and maintained, completely new paint job, new decals, and new seat. Tractor fires and ... moreruns well. Tires are fair. The valves and carburetor have been adjusted and tuned. Engine runs great and the tractor is in sounds mechanical order and completely operationally. Tractor does not have a three point hitch. The serial number for this tractor#6007965 and is a factory wide front which our understanding is fairly rare and harder to find. The tractor is listed locally, and subject to sell outside of eBay until the auction ends or a Buy It Now is used. The tractor is available for inspection during evening hours or by appointment, and we strongly encourage buyers to do so. Deposit via PayPal of $250.00 due within 3 days. 1953 John Deere 70 Gas Antique Tractor Wide Front NO RESERVE Runs Excellent
1953 John Deere 70 Tractor serial number 7001179. This tractor came out of a local estate, it runs very good, it was basically used as a parade tractor, it always starts right up, does not smoke and has good oil pressure, it has all three lights, one of them in the front works the other two do not work, it has a original John Deere Roundtube widefront, it is in nice condition but has had some repair done to the left side if sitting on tractor, it looks good but has been reapired, the front rims are John Deere 1268 originals, front tires are like new, has a pair of clam shell fenders, the rear rims are like new, rear tires are 14.9/38 at 80% but are older tires with some weather checking but will last for years, the brakes both work very good, it has Live PTO, the transmission is good and quiet, has a cylinder hanger, the engien runs excellent ... moreyou can idle it as low as it will go and it will just sit and run, the charging system works, the sheetmetla is good and solid, there are a few dings, the paint is very nice, it has a few chips and on one side up front it is blistered a little but still very nic, I took it down the road today wide open it drove fine, at lower speeds the front tires will wobble a bit not bad but thought it shoul dbe mentioned but wide open they go straight, on the way back it is up hill and it went right up in 6th gear high range at almost no throttle it is a strong running engine, the manifold is good, you will look long and hard to find a better running John Deere 70 Tractor, if you are looking for one this one is selling NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. if you have any questions email or call me at 1-920-988-6388, I can help load and help arrange delivery, I will store the tractor for 6 months if paid for please NO PAYPAL unless you contact me first. 1953 John Deere 50 serial number 5006563. This tractor has been sitting and not run for some time, it is running in the photos, the engine runs good and has good oil pressure but from sitting it has some dirt in carb, as it will spit and sputter and on occasion die, it always fires right back up, it really needs the carb. to be taken off and cleaned and it will be fine to use or restore for your collection, the sheetmetal is solid with a few dings but very solid and would restore easily, it is 12 volt, has a rol-a-matic front with John Deere front rims, has a nice rear step, the PTO and Hydraulics both work good, the rims are good and solid, has mower brackets on the rear hitch I was told it was used most of its life with a JD#5 sickle mower, it has a good 6 speed transmission, the clutch is good, brakes work, the intake manifold is new, ... morehas original generator still on it, the rear tires are 13.6/38 at 30% they are older tires with a few cracks. This tractor wont take much to put it to work or would be an excellent restoration project, it always start right up, just needs carb. cleaned. SELLS NO RESERVE.
