Hello. I bought a farm in Texas about a year ago and this tractor was in it. I was told it had been in the barn for about 25 years, I took the tractor back to my home and proceeded to repair it to working order, just because I wanted to. The following was done: Gas tank professionally cleaned and painted Carburetor rebuilt Electrical system completely replaced and upgraded to 12V, all new wiring New plugs,condenser,coil and wires\ New Muffler New Alternator New Front Tires New Seat New Gauges New Battery Oil Filter assembly professionally cleaned All fluids changed The tractor now starts faster than any engine I have seen, it is literally started within a second of starter engaging I have run about twenty gallons Of fuel thru it and it does not burn oil or smoke, in short it runs perfect. 1952 John Deere B serial number 299425. This is the last year the John Deere B Tractor was built, it came out of a small collection here in Wisconsin, the front tires are brand new 6.50/16 has a rol-a-matic front, the rear tires are 13.6/38 and are new, the rear rims are good and solid, has new guages, lights the front lights work, rear has the red light but is not working, the sheetmetal is nice and solid, it is not perfect you may find a ding or two but it is nice, the paint is older but still nice, runs good always starts up, has good oil pressure, has a PTO shield, newer steering wheel and a good drawbar, 6 speed transmission and a rear rockshaft if you want to put a three point on it, the brakes, clutch, transmission and PTO all work good, also has hydraulics, this is a nice tractor, come out of a collection and hasnt been used much ... moreexcept in a few parades, it is a nice tractor wouldnt take much to make it a show tractor, look it over ask questions sells NO RESERVE. 1952 John Deere M serial number 52750. This is the last year the model M was built, this tractor runs excellent it is running in the photos, it does not smoke and has good oil pressure, it was used to mow 1 acre of lawn, it has alwasy been garage kept, it is still 6 volt with a new battery and the charging system does work, has both battery doors, the clutch, brakes, hydraulics, and PTO all work very good, it also has a rear steel belt pulley I took a photo of it for you to see, the rear rims are good and solid, the rear tires are 12.4/24 Firestones at 50% and in good condition, it has one new front tire, the sheetmetal is solid, the fenders are solid, alos comes with a good woods L59 belly mower, has a rear hitch, seat cushions are like new seat frame is good and solid, fenders are solid, steering is good, I dont know of anything wrong with ... moreit, if you are looking for a good little mowing tractor or one to restore this one runs and drives very good, always starts right up. 1952 John Deere B Antique Tractor NO RESERVE Loader Three Point Hitch
1952 John Deere B serial number 299432 last year built. This tractor came from northern WI. it was last used two years ago, it was mainly used for snow removal, the bucket for pileing and the three point was used with a blade on it, two years ago it was parked in the shed and not run since, we charged battery and put in fresh gas and it fired right up, it is running in the photos, but I could not get loader to rise or three point to work, I am not sure what I am dointg wrong or if something needs to be fixed but when parked it did work, has good oil pressure and does not smoke, but I do believe the carb. could be cleaned and a good tune up would not hurt it, the loader is a trip bucket it has afew welds and needs a few spots welded, but it can be used as is, or you can remove it if not needed, the three point is a home made but is very useful ... moreif needed, the rims are good, the rear tires are 13.6/38 at 20% tread and older tires, has a rol-a-matic front with good John Deere front rims, the metal is solid there are some dings in it but very restorable, has light brackets but no lights, brakes work 50% will stop tractor but not lock up tires, the clutch, transmission, PTO and clutch all work good, it is 12 volt and does charge. the man I got this tractor from siad no matter how cold it was this tractor always started, runs good as is but with a tune up it will make a great tractor, if you need one for the loader or three pint maybe you just want a last year late model B to restore, if you dont want loader or three point we can remove for you if needed just let us know.
