It did nothing ... morewhen I got it. This thing is a tank. Everything has been cleaned and lubed.All lamps have been replaced. The preamp board transistor(most likely. Not guaranteed, but extremely common) are faulty. I used 3904& 3906's, but that did not fix the problem. in retrospect should have maybe used 2222. Should be an easy fix, but I don't have an oscilloscope at the moment. I will include the original transistors to cross-reference from. I have temporarily patched and bypassed the selector portion so only the AUX accepts an input(please see pics) So, the center input switches have no function at the moment, but everything else functions. This is really a solid amplifier and a heck of a deal. I know with the condition of this and a little more time(that i am very limited to due to the move and this thing is a beast 60lbs) I could have this up and fully running as a receiver in a few hours, WORKS GREAT AS AN AMPLIFIER TO YOUR DOOR with only 1 input(just connect to a mixer and this will make a great STUDIO MONITOR AMP) I have done almost all the work cleaned all pots/switches/knobs and doohickies. I used a full can of $30 cleaner on them. Tons of hours of just cleaning to fully restore this and tried my best to explain and illustrate everything to the best of my abilities. please make sure you know what your buying before you do. I will answer any questions I can. If you do not have the abilities to setup. Use or repair this item please consult your local professional.
