You are bidding on this Genrad General Radio 1562-Z Audiometer Calibration Set. It dates to around 1977. I'm listing the set as not working for the following reasons: The 1562-A Sound Level Calibrator opened the unit and plugged in a 9-volt battery(not included) It makes sounds. However I don't know if this means it's working. Someone added battery wires do to some corrosion on the original connector. The 1565-B Sound Level Meter Type 2 uses 2 9-volt batteries(not included) There is also also corrosion around those connectors and one is detached and would have to be reconnected. I inserted 2 batteries and the white needle went up when turned on, however again I don't know if this means it's working properly. But they do go with the Larson Davis 2900 Sound Level Meter and Real Time Frequency Analyzer that I have listed, or have already sold. This hums when a 9 volt battery is installed. But will not stop humming when the switch is pressed. I believe the switch is broken. There is an audio outlet port on the top, where the metal screen is, that has an o-ring seal, that I believe the microphone slides into to form a seal. You can see this in the two photos of this device. PRM900B 3572- Pre-amplifier. This has a microphone screw connection on one end. And a 5-pin port on the other end ... morethat either an extension cable plugs into or this can plug directly into the pre-amp input ports of the Larson Davis 2900. Sound Level Measurement Set 1565B with Calibrator 1567 by General Radio
General Radio Model 1565B hand held sound level meter with a 1567 sound level calibrator. Meter is capable of measuring level A. B, or C. Both come with a soft protective case, and the set comes with a hard shell carrying case. Complete with manual dated 1972. Unit works fine. The only problem is that the battery cover on the meter will not stay shut, so I keep it closed with a piece of duct tape. This is a great tool to have on the factory floor as a guideline for compliance.

These meters are very rugged and reliable. Everything in the pictures is included hand held meter can be used for frequency measuring. I have chart with correction factors for 6Kand 8 K but it has a flat response otherwise. The corrections on 6 and 8KHZ ... moreare less than 2db. Quest Technologies SoundPro DL-2 Sound Level Meter w/ QC-10 Calibrator I have received this unit from a company cleanout. Up for auction is a used Quest Technologies SoundPro DL-2 Sound Level Meter with a QC-10 Calibrator. Both units are in good physical condition with just some light scuffs on the SoundPro and some dents in the calibrator. Both units power on. The SoundPro reacts to sound level changes and all of the buttons work. The Calibrator makes and noise and the SoundPros bars jump around. I do not have a way to fully test these units so I am selling them as-is for"parts or not working. AA batteries are not included. Please look at all of the pictures and message me with any questions. This has been turned on and seems to be working great. Tried some different noise levels to test it and it picked up and showed the decibels level on the screen. It comes with a envelope that contains calibration paperwork. It was calibrated on 5/12/2008. Before that it was calibrated on 6/26/2007. It was serviced and used in a public school for many years. It also comes with a Acoustic Calibrator. Model QC-10/MC-20. This was also calibrated on the same date as the Q-300. There is Duracell batteries shown in the photos. I bought brand new 9 volt Duracell batteries for this. They will be included in this lot. One is going to be in the back of the Dosimeter and the other one will be in the hard case holding spot. Larson Davis 712 Sound Level Meter (SLM) with CA150 Sound Level Calibrator
This is a Larson Davis 712 SLM(Sound Level Meter) along with a CA150 Sound Level Calibrator. Both components are in very good condition with barely any signs of use. These were older units that show calibrations from 1999/2000. But they both function perfectly according to my tests. Both units are powered by a single 9-volt battery each(included) The calibrator properly generates tones at 94/114db and the main SLM unit can detect and respond to those signals. After calibrating to the main unit with the calibrator. It was able to provide readings within 1db of the measurement source. It comes with several accessories and documentation. Manual and Accessories The General Radio 1562 Calibrator is used to provide a known sound level output to validate the calibration of sound level meters. The calibrator comes with the original case. Adaptors for 1/2" and 1" microphones, and the original manual. The case exterior is in rough shape but the case interior is nice. The calibrator runs on a Type 226(NEDA 1600) 9 volt battery which may be difficult to find. The unit was checked out with a standard 9 volt battery and seemed to operate properly.
