Allis Chalmers 2 row no till corn planter works w/ JD, Ford, IH, Massey, NH
This is a 2 row Allis Chalmers no till planter. It is 3 point hitch. Cat 1. It is field ready! This planter is perfect for food plots. Game plots, or to just plant a field with. Notice what great condition the coulters are in. And the cutting edge is still on the seed disk. It is presently on a 34" row. It can be made a little narrower. Or it can be set wider. This planter is 6 feet wide. I made it a little wider. As I had people wanting to plant crops in wider rows with them last year. In addition to corn. This planter will also plant beans, cane, milo, just anything lustran made a plate for. We recommend at least a 40 horse tractor with this. As it is heavy on the lift arms. It has the lustran adaptors in the seed boxes. This means you can use the less expensive John Deere and Lustran plates in it. You are bidding on a pretty good older Ford model"309" 3-Point Hitch, 2-Row Corn Planter. It is standard category one 3-point hitch and does have the"Flex Hitch" on it for better ground following. Everything seems to work as it should on it. We had it in the shop and checked it out. Drivechains and sprockets are all good, gears and bearings all seem good. It is all greased up, chains oiled and ready to go. It does come with one set of corn seed plates. I believe it is ready to take home and go to the field and plant corn. Overall it looks to be a pretty decent clean planter, but keep in mind it is an old planter and it is not perfect. It does have some wear on it, but still has lots of life left in it. One of the seed corn hoppers has had a patch put on it. Nice ford 4 row corn planter. Model 352. Have many extra plates with it, farmer it came from used it every year and always kept it tarped as long as he had it. Fert bins are in good shape and augers spin freely, good disks and tail wheels. Currently has car tires on it, has good hyd cylinder. Never used it but going off what the farmer I bought it off of said and the way it looks I would imagine it would plant no problem, very clean shape. Was always greased and it shows, everything moves and spins well. Only have one row marker for it. Please look at pictures. They are the best way for you to see what you are buying. If you buy the item and you are not happy with it when once you inspect it IN PERSON. You do not have to take it. Cash is the best payment upon pickup. If you are not able to pick it up within two weeks a down payment via paypal ... moreof $100 is required. If the item is not picked up within 90 days it will be considered abandoned and will be offered for sale again with no refund to the buyer. Loading is not a problem if you come to get it in person. I have been having a problem with freight pick up, they have not been telling me when they are coming to pick up and with my busy schedule this has been a problem. If you are having a freight carrier pick the item up I am available weekdays after 5pm, they must understand this if they are coming for the item. Please understand this is used equipment. Ford Model 309 3-Point Hitch 2-Row Corn Planter
You are looking at a pretty good older Ford model"309" 3-Point Hitch, 2-Row Corn Planter with the"Flex Hitch" We had it in the shop and checked it out. Everything seems to work as it should on it. The chains and sprockets all look good. I believe it will go to the field and plant corn. Overall it looks to be a pretty nice clean planter. Easily adjusted for any width planting rows. It does have a big patch on one of the tin seed boxes, as you can see in the pictures, but that does not effect its function at all. Comes with one set of seed corn plates.
