This drill will do just as good a job planting seed as any John Deere. Land Pride, or Great Plains compact drill and will be a lot cheaper as those drills start at $9,000 new and go on up. Ford Model 309 3-Point Hitch 2-Row Corn Planter
You are looking at a pretty good older Ford model"309" 3-Point Hitch, 2-Row Corn Planter with the"Flex Hitch" We had it in the shop and checked it out. Everything seems to work as it should on it. The chains and sprockets all look good. I believe it will go to the field and plant corn. Overall it looks to be a pretty nice clean planter. Easily adjusted for any width planting rows. It does have a big patch on one of the tin seed boxes, as you can see in the pictures, but that does not effect its function at all. Comes with one set of seed corn plates. Would be great for the small farmer, for your sweet corn patch or for food plots. Good used corn planters are hard to find for sale and are bringing premium prices! If you need one, Don't miss out!
