John Deere 7000 planter 4 row narrow 30 inch rows, field ready
Nice little John Deere 7000 4 row 30 inch narrow row planter. I bought it early last year hoping to rent a little ground and do a bit of hobby farming. It didn't work out that I could rent any ground last year or this year so I have decided to sell the planter and give my dad back some shed space. The planter is fully serviced and everything works great- all you need to do is set the population add seed and go to the field. This planter was a wide row from the factory. The only difference is in the axle and the markers. The frame is the same, so a previous owner shortened up the axle and the marker tubes. The workmanship is excellent- take a look at the picture of the axle. It was saw cut- not torched, set to the right width and a telescoping pipe slid over the joint for strength. Look at the quality of the welds- it may not be factory ... moreJohn Deere, but its done absolutely right. The disk openers are nearly new- the beveled edge is very distinct and they measure 15 inches. The scrapers behind the gauge wheels were new at the same time. They show almost no wear. I replaced one gauge wheel bearing and shimmed all of them to ride as close to the disks as possible. The seed hoppers are brand new poly with new lids. There are corn meters installed and they were disassembled, cleaned, and set back to the correct tension on the finger assembly. The markers alternate every cycle as they should. I had all the chains off the planter. There are no stiff links and all chains are lubricated. I also took the spring loaded tensioners off the row units and cleaned the stiff grease and dirt out so they all work like they were designed to. I planted a little bit of corn in the hay field and all rows are working well and dropping accurately. The planter has the wavy coulters mounted ahead of the rows so it could be used in minimum tillage conditions. I do have a set of bean cups that will be included. I haven't tried to use them, and a couple of them are stiff turning. Two of them have cracked tubes that have electrical tape

I bought this at a sale it had been setting in a barn for years! what a find! it is in overall good condtion! John Deere 4 row planter with hydraulic drive , plateless , 20" spacing
Here is my web site(still under construction) For auction is a John Deere 4 row planter equipped with model 7000/ 7100 row units. Planter is in good condition. Row width is set at 20" but could be adjusted. Units are fitted with narrow guage wheels for the narrow row spacings. This is a 3 point mounted planter with cat 1 pins. Brackets are bolted on and are adjustable. Pins on brackets are low enough so that planter can be raised high enough out of the ground. Even for lower compact tractors. This is a hydraulic driven planter. I have seen these built before but never with any adjustment. I built this with a hydaulic motor and a hydraulic flow control valve with bypass return. This allows it to be used with a tractor that has a open center or closed center hydraulic system. Most of your compact tractors have open center systems. This ... morewill work with any tractor that has hydraulic capabilities. It also allows you to adjust the seeding rate to any seed population desired. This set up eliminates the drive tire and drive tire chain/sprockets. You can also slide your row units closer together if wanted for narrower row spacings since there is no tire in the center. Another nice feature is that you can turn your meters while driving and lift the planter out of the ground to see what kind of seed spacing you are getting. Seeding depth is adjustable with the quick adjust T handle. Planter has truvee openers with dual guage wheels for accurate seed placement. Press wheels have quick adjust down pressure. Seed tubes have sensors installed so that if a monitor wanted to be added at a later date. It could easily be done. Boxes have soybean meters installed. Can be fitted with optional corn or milo meters. Takes about a minute per row to change. I can exchange the soybean meters for corn meters if wanted. options: I can install insecticide boxes(rear box that sets behind the seed box) for $100 each. 4 row 71 flex planter. In excellent condition. Comes with 5 sets of plates and the clear rings for the sorghum plates. Plates are. H1301B, B sorg 13-30, Bsoybean2, BO24, Bsoy3x, A-46432. 2 sets are metal the rest are lustran. I have personally planted soybeans, corn, several types of peas, lab lab, sunflowers, both grain and forage sorghum with the plates included and there are many other plates available. This machine is much newer than the old worn out john deere planters that you see for sale with fresh green paint. Great food plot planter. Kinze 4 Row No Till Planter
I have a Kinze model PT planter for sale. It is a 4 row planter on 36" rows. It has trash whippers and row markers so that you can no-till plant. It also has liquid fertilizer tanks with Yetter fertilizer coulters. And a John Blue pump for the liquid fertilizer. The planter has a Dickey John monitor to let you know if one of the rows is not planting. Also it comes with dry herbicide boxes. I bought the planter from a farmer in Iowa, and it has been shedded it's entire life. It has corn brushes that only have 41 acres planted with them since they were replaced. This planter is local pick up only.

Nice ford 4 row corn planter. Model 352. Have many extra plates with it, farmer it came from used it every year and always kept it tarped as long as he had it. Fert bins are in good shape and augers spin freely, good disks and tail wheels. Currently has car tires on it, has good hyd cylinder. Never used it but going off what the farmer I bought it off of said and the way it looks I would imagine it would plant no problem, very clean shape. Was always greased and it shows, everything moves and spins well. Only have one row marker for it. Please look at pictures. They are the best way for you to see what you are buying. If you buy the item and you are not happy with it when once you inspect it IN PERSON. You do not have to take it. Cash is the best payment upon pickup. If you are not able to pick it up within two weeks a down payment via paypal ... moreof $100 is required. International 4 Row Food Plot Planter
International 185 4-30 3 pt planter. This is IH answer to the John Deere 71. Ground driven units with 4 different sprockets. Nice disc openers with depth bands and blade coverers. Factory markers that raise when you pick up planter. Manual trip to drop. Row width is set on 30" but can be narrowed to 17" All boxes in excellent condition. Planter comes with 2 sets of corn and 1 set of bean plates. This planter has been in the shed and has nice original paint.
