International 2 Row Planter with Seed Plates
International 2 Row Planter This planter worked many years ago when we put it in the barn. It has not been used in several years. One tire loses air over a few days period. One row marker is broke. But can be welded. With a few minor repairs it should be field ready: fertilizer boots are dry rotted, marker needs repaired. It has bean plates in it at this time. And we will throw in a whole stack of corn plates. I do not know the year and model number. And have no manual for it. Please look at the pictures closely. I do my best to describe the item. Vintage 2-Row Corn Planter International Harvester?
For sale is this old 2-row corn planter. Most of it is froze up and wont turn except for the wheels. I had it all moving last year but over the winter it froze up again. I do not have the fertilizer buckets. I was told it is an International Harvester but I do not know for sure. Located at: 17857 Whitney Rd Montville. OH 44064 Stop by and take a look. Row width is set at 30" which is the most common. This is a 3 point mounted planter with cat 1 pins. Brackets are bolt on so they can be easily adjusted in or out. Planter stands are included which allows for easy hookups. This planter also has row cleaners. These are used to clear trash and level soil for planter row unit. This is a hydraulic driven planter. I have seen these built before but never with any adjustment. I built this with a hydaulic motor and a hydraulic flow control valve with bypass return. This allows it to be used with a tractor that has a open center or closed center hydraulic system. Most of your compact tractors have open center systems. This ... morewill work with any tractor that has hydraulic capabilities. It also allows you to adjust the seeding rate to any seed population desired. This set up eliminates the drive tire and drive tire chain/sprockets. You can also slide your row units closer together if wanted for narrower row spacings since there is no tire in the center. Here is my web site and for new planter line For auction is a John Deere 2 row planter equipped with model 7000/ 7100 row units. Planter is in good condition. Row width is set at 30" but could be adjusted. This is a 3 point mounted planter with cat 1 pins. Brackets are bolted on and are adjustable. Pins on brackets are low enough so that planter can be raised high enough out of the ground. Even for lower compact tractors. This is a hydraulic driven planter. I have seen these built before but never with any adjustment. I build these with a hydaulic motor and a hydraulic flow control valve with bypass return. This allows it to be used with a tractor that has a open center or closed center hydraulic system. Most of your compact tractors have open center systems. This will work with any tractor that has hydraulic capabilities. It also allows ... moreyou to adjust the seeding rate to any seed population desired. This set up eliminates the drive tire and drive tire chain/sprockets. You can also slide your row units closer together if wanted for narrower row spacings since there is no tire in the center. Another nice feature is that you can turn your meters while driving and lift the planter out of the ground to see what kind of seed spacing you are getting. Seeding depth is adjustable with the quick adjust T handle. Planter has truvee openers with dual guage wheels for accurate seed placement. Press wheels have quick adjust down pressure. Seed tubes have sensors installed so that if a monitor wanted to be added at a later date. It could easily be done. Boxes have corn meters installed. Can be fitted with optional soybean or milo meters. Takes about a minute per row to change. I can exchange the corn meters for soybean meters if wanted. options: 1) I can install insecticide boxes(rear box that sets behind the seed box) for $100 per row. These could also be used for planting small seeds like turnips. 2)I can install a insecticide box that has been altered to apply fertilizer for $250 per row. 3)I can also add furrow openers

John Deere 2 row model 71 planter with fertilizer
Hello you are bidding on a model 3 point 71 planter with IH McCormick fertilizer attachment(just wanted to keep the JD and the IH people happy) I made this out of two 71 planter units and the fertilizer was from a IH planter The planter units have been gone through and work great. Now the fertilizer is run off of hydraulics from the tractor I have used it on a Minneaplois Moline Jetstar Massey Fergeson 265 Ford 340 many different tractors and have not had a problem overheating I only do about 4-6 acres at a time used for sweet corn and food plots. These planter units can plant almost anything corn. Beans, sugar beets, just need the plates I have a few plates to go with the planter mostly for corn they can be bought on Ebay many are for sale. I also have the different size sprockets that change the population count per row. If you see in the ... morephoto I installed a 12 volt DC monitor and this is run off of a small battery that comes on fish locators or many other devices 12 volt dc 7 amp per hour This does not monitor the seed what it does is it make sure the drive chain on the unit has not fallen off. I had people use it and back up and knock the chain off before the planter was up NEVER BACK UP A CORN PLANTER WHEN IT"S IN THE GROUND! This listing is for a good. Functional 2 row Blackhawk corn planter. I used the planter to plant about 1/2 an acre for the deer last year. They ate it all by August so I am planting clover this year. The planter is currently set for 36" rows and comes with four sets of plates. The fertilizer hoppers were rusted out when I got the planter so I used tin around the lower edge and plastic inside the hopper to make it functional. I used bungee cords to hold the fertilizer hoppers in place. The planter needs a new section of chain for the fertilizer drive. This item is sold as is. Where is. Cash at pickup is fine. John Deere 2 Row 3 pt hitch Planter I built this planter from a 4 Row Pull Type Planter This planter has disc openers and new paint. This planter will plant corn. Soybeans or other seeds with the correct plate. Has different set of sprockets to change drive rate for seed. The re are 9 speeds for the seed. As you can see in the pictures. The extra sprockets for the seed are stored in a stand on the end of the planter. This is set up for category 1 hitch. Row width is set at 30 inches. Can be moved out to 40 inches.
