John Deere model FBB drill with rope lift ( planter seeder )
For auction is a John Deere FBB drill. It is in good condition. It has 16 openers on 8 inch spacings. This makes it about 10' 8" planting width. Its 13' overall. Drill box has 2 compartments. One for seed and one for fertilizer. You can seed and fertilizer at the same time. Boxes are good inside and out. This drill has a power lift. The openers drop when the rope is pulled. Pull again while moving and the power of the wheels will lift the openers. No hydraulic cylinder is needed. Therefore, it could be pulled by a pickup or larger atv. Drill meters are driven by drills wheels. It pulls easily. Because of its size, this drill would work good for the small farm or food plot guy. Look at the photo of the seed charts(located on bottom side of lid of both boxes) to determine what it will plant. Would also plant other similar sized ... moreseeds. This is a 15ft. JD 750 no-till drill. It's a very nice drill. Has always been kept inside. It has a 14ft. fill augar, SI meters with new belts. 7.5 inch spacing, 3 point and tongue hitch. Good tires. new web site: For auction is a John Deere power-till drill model 1550. This is a notill or. Sometimes called, a pasture drill. Its openers are round blades or discs with small teeth that are powered by the tractors pto. It has a 1000 rpm pto. It is in good condition. Tires are somewhat weather checked but do hold air. Drill has fresh coat of paint. It has 12 openers on 8 inch spacings. This makes it 8' planting width. Its a little under 10' overall. Drill meters are driven by drills wheels. It has large box for some seeds and a small seed box with small meters for other seeds. Look at the photo of the seed chart(located on bottom side of lids) to determine what it will plant. Up for sale is a John Deere/ Van Brunt. Model B, grain drill. This is a very nice setup. Seperate Small and Large seed hopper boxes. Overall in good condition. This works good, It has sat for a year due to no longer needed on the food plot of our retired uncle. This is a fairly desired model due to how rare these are. It is a dual disk design. This is in overall good shape. A coat of paint would make it look like a new drill. The boxes are in great shape. Clean. Dry, good seals. Has some of the fill tubes. We have machine for loading this on a semi if needed. Tires are fair. They do show some cracking, but still hold air and dont leak. Tires have been on this for years and never needed to refill. Includes chain drags. The rear step is all there, but could use a replacement soon. There is a rear coupler that was welded on to pull another attachment. ... moreThis does make it about 3' bigger than original. If needed for shipping purposes, we will remove. This is sold as shown. I would say that the gauge wheel tires will need to be replaced. Several chains probably need to be replaced. This is a double disc drill, some of the double disc openers are missing. I am sure that this drill probably needs several bearings replaced. This drill is good and straight, just needs a lot of repairs. John Deere no-till grain drill model 1550
For sale is a 10 foot John Deere no-till grain drill. The drill is a model 1550 powr-till drill. John Deere only made these a few years and these units are PTO driven and requires a 1000 rpm PTO on your tractor to run the drill. The seeder uses power-driven cutter wheels to till an area 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch wide. A seedbed wide enough for any grass seed and also soybeans and even corn if you wanted. The depth is fully adjustable and has down pressure adjustable springs on each mounted unit. I purchased this unit to inter seed grasses in crp and pastures and plant soybeans in smaller fields. I cash rented the farms out this year and put some land back in crp and no longer need the machine. It has sat unused most of its life. No returns on this item and is sold as is. International 5100 Soybean Special Drill Late Model Press Wheels Wheat Oats Rye
This is a good solid drill that is field ready. The drill is 12 foot with 7 inch spacing. I believe it has been shedded its whole life. I drilled 50 acres of cover crop cereal rye with it in October. Worked perfect with no problems. All coulters and bearings are in good condition. Press wheels are a little sloppy. But when I was looking for this one that was very much the norm. All sheet metal is straight. Paint is good. Tires are excellent. I have never put air in either tire. No dry rot or cracking. Rate charts are under the hood in great shape. The acre counter does not work. Also the front cylinder mount is broke. It has been rigged since I bought it and it has always worked well the way it is. If you could find the cast bracket it would bolt on and be perfect. Pictures show the break well. I will help load the best I can. John Deere Food Plot Grain Drill, Model FB
This is the perfect food plot grain drill. I used this drill to plant oats last fall. Pulling it with my 700 Polaris with no problems. This drill is all factory John Deere, not a cut down model. This drill is all mechanical, it requires no tractor hydraulics to operate. This means it can be pulled with any tractor or atv. It is has a 70 inch planting width. The overall width is 7ft 7in across the tires. This drill will pull right up onto a 8ft trailer behind your tractor or atv for easy moving from place to place. The grain box is clean and all the adjustments operate freely, there is even an agitator in the grain box. The drill has the dry fertilizer box on it. I have not hooked up the chain to the fertilizer box, but the shaft turns easily with a wrench and the metering gates open and close freely. There are a few rusty spots on the fertilizer ... morebox itself, but it should hold fertilizer and operate properly, though I have never used it. The drill is for local pickup only. I have a loader and can put the drill on anything you bring to get it.

Minneapolis Moline Monitor PF3-7 16 Hole Grain Drill Planter 10' Working Width
Up for bids is a Minneapolis Moline Monitor PF3-7 16 hole Grain Drill. Unit is trip lift(no hydraulics required) with single disc openers. Has fertilizer box but is non-functional(missing the inside parts) All seed cups and tubes are present. I had this planter hooked up today and the seeding mechanism does work. It will plant in its current condition. However, I am listing it as"for parts" is because it has a couple issues that will need addressed sooner or later. The first is that the trip lift units(there are 2 of them. One at either end) that lift the grain drill openers up and down are not working properly. I believe the problem is that they are gummed up and possibly have a broken spring in them. We have had other drills like this and due to grease and dust they get sticky. Either way they will need to be repaired to work ... moreproperly. Secondly. The drill has some discs with some pretty bad rusting where it has sat with the discs in the ground(probably because the lift wasn't working right) I have included pictures of(2) different discs so you can see the range of condition on the discs. Case IH Grain Drill 5100, 5300 And Hitch, John Deere, New Holland, LOOK
We have a nice pair of Case IH till grain drills for sale. The first one is a model 5100 that has the hitch on it. It has 18 runs with 7 inch spacing. A planting width of 10 feet and overall width of 13 feet. It has chain drags on it now but i have 18 press wheels for this one, i do not have press wheels for the 5300 only chain drags. The second one is a model 5300. It has 20 runs with 6 inch spacing and a planting width of 10 feet and overall width of 13 feet. These are nice drills and the only reason we are selling is because we bought a new no-till drill. When you hook these 2 drills together you can plant 20 feet at a time. These are till drills and neither one has the small seed box. The seed disc are in good shape, both drills have been shed kept.
