2 Antique Cast Iron Wheels w/ Axle ~ Old Industrial Hit Miss Engine Wagon Parts
Up for bids at auction: Up for bids is this set of antique cast iron wheels and axle assembly. These old wheels were a barn find from an old farm estate in Northern Missouri and are in great condition. I’m assuming they were salvaged from an old wagon or cart of some sort long ago. They have a great looking old iron patina and are ready to put back to use on any project. The wheels measure 10 inches in diameter with a ¾ inch wide track and turn very smoothly. The axle frame stands 10 ½ inches high with a spread of 12 ½ inches between the wheels. The frame platform that you would attach to your cart or wagon measures a little over 10 inches wide. They’re a great set of wheels with no damage to be found. Please refer to the pictures and feel free to email with any questions. Vincent 2 stroke prototype industrial engine
This is an opportunity to purchase a very rare Vincent engine. This is a prototype. The only small Vincent engine I have seen with a flywheel. Serial number is 22. Never been used. Manufactured of satin aluminium which has a lovely sheen. I mounted it on a mahogany panel which came from a 12 panel door in a bank in Newcastle when it was demolished. I have a copy of the original manual which will be included in the sale together with other paperwork. The engine was made in 1953. These engines and sister engine made for the amanda water scooter bankrupted the Vincent motor cycle company- the water scooter was called a jet ski. On its debut in the Thames it sadly sunk. The American company which had ordered 2500 of them backed out of the deal and that was the end of the Vincent company. Very nice early Briggs and Stratton model WI engine. Turns over and has good compression but untested and sold as is for parts.
