I ran this on compressed air and and was able to to regulate to a slow chug.Pump end is brass bore.Buttons on top are to start motor if it stops on center.Pump makes suction on your finger over the port. Appears to have been on this board for a long time and is the way I got it. Included is the early brass steam valve to regulate incoming feed.Weighs 30 lbs. I believe it is a GoodYear made belt by the yellow diamond shape on the belt. No splices. Endless. No breaks. No delamination. It is marked in the one small yellow rectangle on the belt with: 75 Feet Endless Farm Belt" When I laid it out and measured it. The looped length is apprx 36 feet or a total length of apprx 72 feet long belt. It has probably shrunk and will stretch out with usage. Actual measured width is 6-7/8 inches wide. Original Early Brass Grease Gun Pump Oiler Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor
This is a real neat old. Original brass grease pump or gun. It is called the N.F.O. Injector Pump and was made by the New York and New Jersey Lubricant Company as it says on the engraving on the body. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs anywhere on it. It measures about 1 3/8 inches in diameter and about 9 1/2 inches long without the tip. It has an ornate end on it. I'm not sure if it works as I haven't tried it but I would guess that it would need a new leather washer on the end of the plunger at the very least. The pump body is in great shape and the tip has a few dings in it from being used. It still displays very nicely and would look great all polished up with your early engine or horseless carriage! Older Home Made Garden Tractor w Running Maytag Engine
Here`s an older home made walk behind garden tractor with iron wheels with a Maytag single cylinder gas engine on it. I have had the engine running. But the fuel check valve will need to be cleaned. It has excellent compression and spark. The tractor is missing the chain that drives the countershaft in the front, the drive vee-belt on the other end that goes to drive the axle, and a pulley for the axle, all of which should be easy to get. A great little tractor that would be a great show-piece for shows! I can strap it onto a pallet and drop it off at the local Fastenal store as long as the buyer pays for and makes arrangements for shipping. I can also store it here until you can make arrangements for pick up at Wilbraham, MA 01095 as long as it is paid for. It`s open for trades also for old engines, garden tractors, bottles, etc.
